I'm just glad they got caught and won't be collecting any insurance money.I hope they get put in jail where they belong.Angel's sister that let her baby go with them needs to be put away too. They should have all drowned except for that poor little girl.Take that baby away from her.

They are low life's, I remember when that baby was just a couple of weeks they let a teenager keep her for months and months! That girl bought everything she needed for that baby! Some of there family didn't like that she had the baby! But in my opinion the baby was best off there she had diapers, formula, a clean car seat, they actually had a car they put her in when they went places... Not in the back of a lawn mower wagon!

In less than a week, Angel Ewing went from being a courageous survivor to a calculating criminal.

Ewing, the Jackson woman who was able to save herself after her sports utility vehicle was driven off the road and plunged into 25 feet of water in the city of Jackson's Hammertown Lake last Thursday afternoon, is now one of five persons charged in connection with the incident.

Jackson Police told The Telegram Wednesday they now believe Ewing and four other adults conspired and carried out a plan to intentionally drive the vehicle into the lake in order to collect money from subsequent insurance claims.

All four adults were able to make it to shore, including Ewing, who was described as a desperate and panicking non-swimmer. The adults also were able to save Ewing's 2-year-old niece who was with them.

Police confirmed that Ewing and three adult passengers, her 30-year-old boyfriend, Ryan Tripp of Jackson, as well as 28-year-old Tasha Kuhn of Wellston, and 30-year-old Nikki Justice of Wellston, were all charged with Insurance Fraud. The case was to have presented Wednesday to a Jackson County Grand Jury for possible indictments.

Holzer Medical Center

The fifth person who faces a possible indictment on the same charge, Shannon French of Wellston, is the mother of 2-year-old Macie Ewing, who was the other passenger in the vehicle. Police allege French, who is Angel Ewing's sister, was aware of the plan and allowed her toddler daughter to be a passenger to help support their story that the wreck was an accident.

However, police received incriminating information and a brief investigation led to the charges being filed. Police say other charges may also be filed against the five adults, including Child Endangerment.

Sounds like this Ewing b!tches 1st mistake was THINKING.. If I can't swim I'm not dumping a car in a lake with me and 4 others.. Stupid b!tch. Second mistake was thinking you could keep a secret with 5 people.. Dumbass.. 3rd mistake was ruining your transportation more than likely your ONLY Means of TRANSPORTATION.. They shouldn't send her to jail.. They should take her back to the lake with a big brick tied to her leg and toss the stupid b!tch back in the lake..

They shouldn't be charged with child endangerment, but charged with pre-meditated, attempted homicide, on that baby's behalf!!! They planned the crime, making it pre-meditated, they deliberately placed that baby in the vehicle, knowing they were going to drive into the lake while she was in the car, and couldn't save herself, therefore; attempted homicide. I knew a couple of these girls when they were younger, and went to school with my children. They were never accused of being very smart then either, but I would have never imagined they would ever do something this stupid!
