Ramdan,
Your other ideas are good. It is not just about schools but that is a great place to start. Just so you know; I'm finishing my 33rd year in the profession and fully understand the if there was a windfall that it would not benefit me personally, as much. For the younger teachers, students, and community members it would be a great boost.

So Heller, the truth finally surfaces, you are bitter towards liberals/democrats because they happened to be in office when were pinched. And now when asked a direct question regarding your education, you give the ol' Rope-A-Dope.

And you have the stones to call out WAMC?

Okay "Fargo", let's hear it, what education do YOU think one should have to be able to comment intelligently on these threads.
You tell me, then I'll tell you if I match up.
While we're at it.
What's your level of education?

Why so bunched about level of education? If you have an intelligent post to make on the topic, then your level of education is immaterial.

I agree with Ramadan that the endowments should not be taxed. If endowments were taxed, it would surely effect people's willingness to make donations to these schools in the first place. Perhaps there are other places that the money could be raised, or in the alternative ways in which spending could be curbed to render such a tax unnecessary.

Heller is not that is concerned with education, your question from post #24 of this thread "Lides, prove me wrong about something.
Did you go to college and if so, which did you attend?"

You have, from the first, labeled me as a liberal. As per usual you had little or no evidence to support your assumption.

I am and Independent. If you actually pay attention, you will find that on some topics I adopt a decidedly liberal stance, while on others I am quite conservative. This is because I prefer not to have my opinion dictated to me by a political party, as I am quite capable of thinking and reasoning on my own.

Not me, Lides, I prefer to have my opinion dictated to me by a political party, and also by Conservative radio talk show hosts, as I am quite incapable of any thinking or reasoning on my own.
Now, where is that bottle of Bling H20?

"Amandavives", "Ramdan" is a liberal, and "caring" is extremely important to liberals.
Whereas, Conservatives are, of course, beasts who care about nothing but the Almighty Dollar.
