There is similar entertainment on the Discovery Channel this week if you miss the feeding frenzy. They call it "SHARK WEEK"!

Maybe its because when a case is play'd out in the public first, its very difficult to get a trial, people talk about people walking well it doesnt help when you convict someone without the benefit of a fair trial first, because like it or not that is the law.

In such a small community, Havaco, I would think no one can keep a secret! lolo You are correct about a fair trial. Change of venue will work for me!!! Hope I spelled venue correctly. The spelling police will be after me!

I reckon it got a little too intense. I think Mariea is right about the trial aspect. Glad to read about the 4th suspect. We'll need a zoo to keep 'em in... so far got two hippos and a mule!

LOL...very true, its difficult to get a jury these days, to easy for them to know the person, know the case to well, bias is the worse thing to happen in a trial for conviction..

yep, and plus "the bullsh!^ that gets started here on this site period, people not knowing half as much as they want to talk about. gets things deleted, it is pitiful that people get on here and lie to create rumors and then want to continue adding stuff, so they can hide the skeletons in there closet. all ya'll need to grow up and get out of the spreading rumprs and bs game, that is for school kids!!
Court of law will decide what is lies and what is truth. The fat lady has already sung her song for the Fat Boys. I may have skeletons in my closet, but they never caused anyone to DIE!

There was more than 3 .... who is the 4th one ... and i dont think they will stand trial in McDowell Co. Do you honestly think they could find a untainted jury here ...lol ... i dont think so.

It's a Federal case. Won't be heard in McDowell county I don't think. They arrested the fourth person. You can read about it in the BDT. The guy is from Detroit, but have an apartment in Blfd.

What high profile case do you know that wasn't played out in the court of public opinion? I don't care how much fanfare a case generates, I believe there's still enough good and decent people who can put their preconceived notions aside and render a fair and just verdict. It happens all the time.

I noticed the team iraq thread disappeared, too. Looks like someone doesn't want public discussion about these distinguished citizens.
