I was out today and noticed that most of the campaign signs that were beside the road have disappeared. Does anyone know is the State road is removing them?

I wish they would all disappear. Who in the heck can ready them as your going by. Especially when a yard had l0 or more in it. They are a joke. If people dont know who their going to vote for by now, a sign sure isnt going to help..There should be a litter law about all of them. One more thing, I am so sick of Fanning, Byrd and some of the others that have been in there their lifetime, it makes me sick. They need to only be able to run 2 terms.

Doubtful, most people have or should have their eyes on the road instead of gawking at signs. I vote for the candidate I choose, not what a sign says.

Good job, Billy Reed. I thought we were suppose to be "GOING GREEN". Makes it bad when you can't see the green for the signs. Let's vote for the canidate who has the least signage. Less is besst!

I guess you shouldn't check out speed signs, either, huh? It takes me about as much time to read "So&So for Sheriff" as it does "Speed Limit 25."

There are always about a thousand at the red light at Bluewell and at the top of the hill before you get to Bluefield State.

No! They're an eyesore and a waste of money by the politicians. If it wasn't a violation of the law, I'd put them all in the nearest dumpster. LOL!

Good for him.The law does not allow anyone to put
them up on state or private property.Unless the owner says OK.Then if someone wrecks while looking at them, some one could be in trouble.

My opinion, although no one asked, is that political signs on public property is wrong if not illegal. On the other hand, a citizen placing a political sign on his/her own property is quite legal.

What were you doing out at 3:25 a.m.? I just call it being plain old nosey. If it was being put up you can rest assured they had permission from us.
