I'd really like to know the answer to this... why is it you only find Christian symbols offensive? Symbols of pagan religions are never the object of Atheist crusades... witches at Halloween, etc... why don't you fight those too? They violate the same principle don't they?
For one, no one takes them seriously.

Atheist - I noticed you avoided answering this one. I am curious to know the atheist stance on pagan religion... devil worship, etc. You hate that too don't you?

This is not true. A lot of people are serious about the occult and devil worship. Why wouldn't the true atheist combat those as well?

Completely sensible. It is a family issue.
One thing though. Allah is God in Arabic. Muslims worship the same God as christians, they simply believe Muhammed was the true prophet and Jesus was not.
Actually Islam notes Isusu Christu as being a Profit, but can not fathom Him being the Son of God.. They view Christianity worshiping 3 God and not one God comprising of Three Identities.

Christianity worships the Fulliness of God, not the Oneness.

Christians love to bring up crime, all the while the numbers have decreased year after year.

Its just further proof that you rely on blind faith instead of logic and fact.
99.9 %??? You must be joking, no wait you are just spouting anything without facts AGAIN. There are plenty of people in Welch and McDowell county it has offended. Especially the Jehovahs Witnesses and their numbers destroy your figure already. The jews don't like it and there are a couple black muslims I have spoken to in McDowell. It won't go up this year. Just because you believe in majority rule, luckily the press won't. Neither does the supreme court. there MUST be a separation of church and state. More good news for you is I am not an outsider. My mother and father still live in Welch, I have grandparents in Wyoming county. Its time to fight the Nativity Scene. Sounds like to me the other guy forgot to call the ACLU for the parents of the disenfranchised children.
Happy Holidays!
You are one very sad individual!! You're not happy unless you have something to complain about and try to make everybody else as unhappy as you are. GOD Bless you and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

I'd be interested to hear more about how you are crusading against pagan religion. Have you contacted the ACLU to get witches and devils removed from school decorations at halloween? They are, after all, references to occult religion.

Also, I saw a smiling sun last spring on a school bulletin board. I couldn't believe it!! It really upsets me how those sneaky sun worshippers are trying to subliminally force their beliefs of a benevolent, personified sun on our kids. You should take up that cause as well.

Those all sound great. But the supreme court explains there must be religious infringement first. Since everyone is offended by Christianity, except Christians and there probably are no pagans to infringe at Welch Elem your point is totally moot. Don't reach for a concept to prove a point, it makes you look desperate. If you find me a kid whose parents are wiccan or satanists then they have an argument to remove the Halloween decorations. But last time I checked the school is not placing a giant obnoxious religious tool on the roof at Halloween.

So, if I understand you correctly, then all the parents have to do is not admit that they are christians and then the kids could have a nativity scene, right?

No, its not the christian's burden because the infringement is the other party. Its a tool of Christianity that is in question. Wouldn't you be offended if at Halloween the Satanists erected a 15 foot sign that Worship Satan!???? on school grounds.

Schools are govt. property .The Govt. does not promote any religion You could be thankful that it does not . Put a nativity scene in front of your house . Would that not be even more significant .That way it would be a statement of your spiritual belief rather than a secular political belief .

But what you said was if you find a kid whose parents are wiccan or worship satan then you have an arguement against halloween decorations.

Therefore, it stands to reason, if you can't find a kid whose parents admit to being christian, the nativity scene should be allowed to stay as well.

Wonder why it is that when we all where taught to respect GOD and the church this country flurished and our fore fathers may have had hard times but nothin like we have today I'm refering to the evil that is out there such as children killing there own parents family turning on each other and the murders and rapes..The BIBLE says all that is happening must come to pass before our Father can return so christains hold your head up and be pround and simply pray for those that are lost we can not make anyone believe that he will return.I do not try and force my beliefs on anyone I invite then to church and ask do they know JESUS thats all I can do. When people tell me they do not believe that there is a GOD I simply say well if you are right and there is no GOD then what have I lost?....nothing but if I'm right your in trouble.....and then it will be to late...

Where I was at with Athiest was in them explaining the difference between the nativity scene and the witches at halloween.

Care to enlighten me on your view about that? I simply don't see the difference. Many christians don't believe in celebrating halloween either.
