I was told today that it will open Monday just like any other day, but under the name of Pioneer Bank.(Pioneer of Iaeger took it over) I believe with the same employees.

I am with you they need to know it was not her that shut the bank down it was bad loans and bad investments in Florida land deals that bank has always been in trouble for something.

thats true but dont forget mcnb was in trouble with the feds a few months ago and pioneer itself had to shut down its gilbert branch. pioneer has enough problems from what i hear a lawsuit may be lurking in the near future from a past employee against a senior mgmt male in that organization for inappropriate behavior:)

Actually FDIC insures up to 100k per account so as long as you dont go over that amount you should be reimbursed fully
So then the real question is 'who has OVER 100K in their account?'

how can our money be any safer in pioneer when the guy running pioneer was fired by ameribank a few years ago! also pioneer just shut down their gilbert branch themself. people do your research befor leaving it in pioneer or you may be sorry!!!

I actually know a couple of people who have that much in banks...knew a couple of them who had that much in Keystone when it closed. They nearly went crazy. They are both very dishonest people so I had no sympathy for either of them.
