The ones from Lynn's drive in up in Bluewell were pretty good too. I wonder if that place is still open.

I don't think Lynn's hot doggers are as good as they once were. Someone told me that new owners took over and maybe they changed things. Then again, it could just be me. Hey Sundog, I have lots of homemade chili in the freezer. I made a big batch last week so I can send you some. It must be good because I have people that visit asking if I have any in the freezer and my circle at church always asks me to make it for our bake sales. It has some kick to it though! LOL

If that's you in that pic I still just can't place you. What was your father's name and what years did you live there? I don't remember any Lowe's living in BF. I lived there from the time I was born until I was 19, then I just moved on my Dad's land in Vivian, but I was till at Dad's in BF everyday, almost all day long....Dad couldn't get rid of me...lol. If you lived in the hollow behind Mary's Groc then you probably knew the Lester's and the Moore's. Did you know any of the Belcher's that lived in Mary's Trailar Park? I have a couple of nephews your age and I am 49.

Lucy, once you get out of WV you just can't find a good hot dog. I used to love the ones from the Chatterbox, Lynn's, Mooney's in Princeton and the Dairy Queen in Princeton. They don't make hot dogs like that anywhere else in America. I may have to have you send me some of that chili. I sure do miss those good hot dogs!

Dang fine idea!

On the other hand, maybe Lucy ought to start a mail order business for us displaced West Virginians that can't get hot dogs anywhere else.

My Dad owned the television cable company in BF, was an electrician for Cannelton and the Chief Police in Kimball. I remember Jerry Noe and Alan Noe.
