Former Rep. Alan Grayson, a Democrat, won his House race in Florida on Tuesday night over his Republican challenger Todd Long. Grayson was first elected in 2008, but lost in the Tea Party wave of 2010.

He noted Tuesday night to HuffPost that his turnaround is the biggest on record in the history of House. No other candidate had lost by 18 points in one year, only to turn around and win the next cycle by 25 -- a 43-point swing.

Tea Party is DYING!!!!!

Scott Brown may not go quiet in the sunset, Kerry could be the next Sec of State and will leave that opening availible in a special election.

Alan Grayson is a man with his own money, owes no favors and cannot be bought off, that is why the GOP overspent on him in particular to get him out, he was the only true progressive that was voted out of the house in 2010, GOP won over blue dogs and open seats.

I find him rather enjoyable to listen to.

I mean, the tbaggrs and Carl Rove and co spent an enormous amount of money, more than others to get him out and he was just a freshman congressman with NO pull in the House , he was just vocal.

The GOP is not nor ever been a party of fiscal conservatism NOR personal responsibilty.

Ever notice Romney won all the welfare states? Meaning the majority of welfare and checker drawers voted for Romney.

Man education needs to be a priority in the second term to overcome the dumb downed morons who listens to divisive rheteric from FOX and Limbaugh (a college dropout as a freshman, Beck nor Hannity has a college education, that is why they diss education and the droolers believes them), higher education is a priority and the hate jockeys needs to be phased out from radio, Democrats do not need people to speak for themselves, that is why liberal talk radio is minimal and not a moneymaker and radio is antique and been dead quality wise for a couple decades, TV is getting drowned down to the point it is irrelavant by the end of the decade.

Yeah, but you can't educate racists...just can't..nor the knee jerk republican religious right...

The only thing is is that this has let the republican party know the rich can't buy elections...so why kiss their arse?
