Hardly.
We have steadily reduced taxes on the wealthy by almost 30 percent since the Reagan Administration. We are now at the point were it's possible for millionaires to pay no taxes if they invest their money the right way and access loopholes Republicans refuse to close.
Meanwhile, the tax burden has not only shifted to the middle class, but the middle class now subsidizes the low wages paid for by many companies in the form of welfare for their employees.
As a result of more than thirty years of tax breaks for the wealthy and corporations, America's infrastructure is collapsing and the jobs we once created by infesting in infrastructure have disappeared.
Why do you let the super rich use their propaganda to make you believe things that are against your best interest Fitness?
Why do you let them use you?
because im the black sheep in the herd of sheep the liberals preach to with all the answers to all the problems. did you vote for obama ?

Of course I voted for Obama. I'm not happy that he's been so conservative (passing a Republican healthcare plan instead of the one-payer system we eventually have to have, and not playing hardball with Tea Party Republicans during the first debt ceiling standoff); however, Obama has supported the majority of the policies our country needs to improve its economy and standing.

1. A substantial increase in minimum wage which would raise all wages and cut those getting welfare benefits in half.

2. An end to excessive tax cuts for the wealthy which would allow revenue to invest in infrastructure.

3. Common sense gun control policies.

4. The passage of numerous jobs bills supported by Nobel-prize winning economists.

Unfortunately, the insane right-wing House Republicans would rather destroy America rather than pass bills Republican supported no less than 15 - 20 years ago before the rise of Fox "News" and the corporate backed Tea Party.

I like that Rand is suing Obama over all the illegal spying going on. Good for him. One thing I like about Rand is he seems to respect the Constitution, unlike our current lawbreaker in chief.

The majority of the Affordable Care Act was created by the conservative Heritage Foundation think tank as an alternative to the Clinton Administration's preferred one-payer system.

Romney implemented the plan as Governor of Massachusetts.

Obama supported the plan as a way to meet conservatives halfway by offering them their own healthcare plan, only to be labeled a "socialist," Marxist," and "communist" despite the fact that the cornerstone of the act is the "capitalism on steroids" individual mandate that requires Americans to purchase private health insurance.

Again, individuals such as yourself were led into hating your own party's plan due to conservative propaganda.

This is how conservatives have destroyed this country: if they don't like something, they go as far in the opposite direction as possible so that nothing gets done. An example is a minimum wage increase. Republicans don't want to increase minimum wage, so they now say they are against the minimum wage altogether and the result is that it stays the same to everyone's detriment.

Can't wait to hear the simple answers for this one, and I mean stupid! Why is it that when Romney ran for President, they put his wife down severely for being a stay at home Mom? Now that so many will lose their jobs because of Obama care, those people can now spend more time with their children. That's what we're hearing now people. Now people can take the time to tuck their children in at night and take time to really think about and follow their dreams, What a load of total shit! Just another excuse for that idiot! Every time something he's planned fails, someone else takes the blame, and now this. And this gun control, really??????? Do any of you really think the criminals have their guns registered? How about all the ones they've stolen? Hate to tell you, but they will always have their guns! I'm not giving mine up and becoming defenseless! You all better think about the real reason they want us that way!

One more question. All you out there thinking all the free stuff you're getting now is so great, including food stamps, where do you think this fountain of money is coming from? When do you think it will end, never? It will end very soon. Think about it, our country is in dire straights! It can't and won't last much longer. Where will you be then? More and more without jobs to pay taxes. More taking the hand outs due to no jobs. It will end sooner than you think! Who will pay for it?

1. Stay at home mom's are poor role models for their children. They are also dependent on their husbands in both mind and body.

2. No one will "lose" their jobs due to the Affordable Care Act. Many will simply not need to work as much in order to pay for excessive healthcare costs.

3. The only individuals who believe the Affordable Care Act has failed are those that have sealed themselves in a right-wing media bubble. These are the same people who couldn't believe Obama beat Romney despite all objective polls showing him far ahead in the electoral college.

4. The old "if you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have em" NRA claptrap is complete bull. There are numerous examples of other countries that have had gun cultures and have banned numerous guns only to have crime rates/gun related deaths drop dramatically.

5. A gun in the home is three times more likely to kill a member of the household than an intruder (which statistically never happens).

6. You are paranoid and delusional. The "government" is a nebulous concept. No one wants you damn guns.
