You started seeds or using bought seedlings. I been doing a cherry variety called Mother of Millions or a couple of years. There indeterminant and literally get weighed down with pounds of cherry tomato's. Best part it is not a hybrid.

I know the Fed is planting Money trees.

85 BILLION a month ... that's over a TRILLION in a year. Watch your 401k buy less than half of what you had hoped for!

You don't have to buy guns ... just buy the bullets, you can use them for currency with the gun guys after the dollar collapes.

Lol. I get a buzz off of cordite. Also, I keep planting different kinds of 'cans, but none have sprouted, I am afraid I planted them too deep.

.I go down to Ellison Park and get 5gal. buckets full of horse manure and mix it with peat and leaves. I then dig down and make a bed of it and top it with suckers the heads of bullhead from the spring catch.Mound over them. When the carp spawn I'll throw them in between my mounds and bury them with chipped sticks from the yard, peat, and wood/charcoal ash ash.Along with all my coffee grounds and eggshells.

You start your own seeds? When do you plan on putting them in the ground?

Drought. Drought is what's going on in my garden. I've planted 34 tomato plants, and am already down to 28. I think I moved them outdoors a week too early. Wasn't planning on two rainless weeks though.

How big is your yard? How many tomato's do you eat? You should have at least 2ft between each plant and row. The soil is plenty moist for growth right now. If you already have them in the ground that's your problem. Unless you got warmed raised bed that are covered the soil temp is still too cold to support tomatos without stunting them. Plus our forcast for the next ten days is calling for temps. in the low 50's. You should have waited another 2-3 weeks for tomatos.

I call it postage stamp sized. It's the typical city back yard, not much size to it. Started tearing out the patio this year, so basically i laid down a mix of 1/3 topsoil and 2/3 humus/compost. Trying beets for the first time ever. A lot of people don't like beets, but they're great for you. As for the tomatoes, hoping to try making some sauce this year, hence the reason I planted so many.
