I've been saying it for a few years now. The plows are no where to be found especially if you work nights when it snows. When a moderate storm hits during day time and may impact rush hour, it's big news and I think good - now you people that are spoiled will understand what just 4" or more can mean on untreated roads or without a plow clearing the way. That's not right for me to feel that way, but I just get angry because because I work nights I don't get the same attention as you day timers. At night, don't count on seeing a plow at all. Funny, this time though a reporter asked "where are the plows?". I pay taxes too and work nights. There is no excuse, such as it is snowing too hard. The plows need to be out on the roads, instead of soaking up OT at the local Tim Horton's. For those of us that work second or third shifts, we depend on the plows that never show up. The Thruway is actually one of the worst offenders. Our expressways, especially 390 is another very sore spot. It's a State, County and local issue. What is the problem? Why do I not feel safe anymore? Where are the plows?
