Another Electrolux factory moving to Mexico. More to follow, like Saint Cloud, MN.(freezers), Anderson, SC.(refrigerators) and all other North American companies owned by Electrolux. They want slave labor wages so the stockholders can reap a bigger profit!!!! At least there is better imports than Electrolux, like LG!!! You know what they say "Nothing Sucks Like Electrolux"

Just laid off, not sure of recall, hmm doesnt seem fair not to have all the facts and information entitled to, considering I'm an American with bills to pay just like the rest. Is this the beginning of a 700 person lay-off, anticipated to have taken place at this time of year, last year? Why can't we get the answers we deserve?

Please be aware that the factory can be competitive, but unfortunatly the mentality to keep it as productive as the one in Springfield Tn is not there. So instead of blaming EMA lets evaluate what is missing to make the same than Springfield factory.

To Worked There: From what I recall the move to Mexico was because Webster City didn't have the capacity and space to run the new models. Now its a productivity thing. HAH! You difinitely worked there. I can tell by the forked tongue you speak with.

americanman You need to take your own advice. Learn proper puncuation and capitalization. How does one reread what they say? I was an Electrolux employee and they screwed me around I spent lots of time, and money on tools in thier joke of an appreticeship program only to have it pulled out from under me. They tried to force me to 1st shift when I was a full time student which would have caused me to lose my credits for the semester and I would have had to repay student loans for a semester I didn't complete. Good try but not good enough. Thanks to Iowa workforce Development I was able to get my unemployment and stay in school. I hope Electrolux has to pay unemployment to every single employee that wants to go back to school the entire time they are enrolled. P.S. to hahahaha I could give a rat's ass about the lives of anyone in the entire USA thats not friend or family. Workmanship is a joke. When employees pointed out defects in product and quality management ignored it a bought off on it and out the door it went. I know this how? Because I was there!

I have worked at Electrolux for over 20 years and some of these comments on here are TRUE and SOME NOT. You work there for as long as I have and then you can post the truth. Some people should shut their MOUTHS!!

I bought a Electrolux refrigerator and it's a piece of junk. The ice maker has worked for only the first day.

Customer service is horrific, it's like talking to a bunch of zoo animals

I told Lowes to come and pick it up, that I no longer wanted it or they would get a law suit against them

Lowes did the right thing and that's why I will continue to shop at Lowes. Great customer service
