yeshua is if used as a name female.
Derived from Yoshuah meaning saviour.
So you would have 'saviour'+ annointed'
No name whatsoever not was one inclued in any of the first bibles.
Immanual is written in perfect pased time, so can't possibly have any baring on imaginary effeminate friends.

Even the original revelation does not mention any jesus and embellishments whatsoever nor the added verses on the churches.

i don't mind people believing but this kind of expressed christian gullability and use of Stolen Scriptures they don't even understand is pathetic.

Oh, I get it. You can't try to justify accepting the Bible as true with evidence. You have to simply accept that it's all true for no good reason. Once you do that, it will all make sense.
You do realize that this method also works for the Koran, right? Why don't you just accept THAT as true? Are you afraid of becoming a Muslim? What about the book of Mormon? Are you afraid of becoming a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS? How do you justify accepting one over the others?
All other religions on earth falls under the feet of Christian religion...
The bible book is a testimony to that...
The bible remains an un-biased book of history unlike others...
But many critics do not understand this due to their blindness...
Not withstanding, their critics can never stop the bible or God's work, that is the fact...

What strikes me is that people could get so much more out of the book if they did not go for a literal interpretation.
But i guess it's true that people understand believe as to their capacity, which would certainly handicap the literalists.

His name was not Immanuel. Only if you already believe him to be God is it an appropriate nickname, but his name was Yeshua bar Yusuf. Yeshua means "God saves." Immanuel means "God with us." How are those two names the same? He was named Yeshua. The prophecy didn't say you could maybe call him Immanuel, but that wouldn't really be his actual name. The prophecy was very specific.

Why is it working for whom? The only people who seem to be making it are those people who work within the business of religion.
If it's actually doing something for other people, prove it's their belief in one God or another that is actually doing something. Come on, one more list you will fail to produce after making big boasts.
Mine seems to be working just fine. I have a good job, work with interesting people, have a good family and an adorable granddaughter. By any standards, life is going pretty well. Funny, I can trace many of the positive things in my life to specific actions I, my wife, and my children have actually done. No need to bring a Deity into the picture.
Of course some negative things have happened and probably will happen in the future, but still no need to blame a Deity. It's called 'Life' and I for one have been living it. You, on the other hand, spend more time on your knees than on your feet. Good luck explaining that to Jesus.
Congratulations for that Mr.Bollock Ted,
i too have a family and a job...

You have an interesting view of Religious Freedom. You seem to believe you should be free to believe as you wish and that everyone else is supposed to believe as you do as well.
Bollocks!
Mr.Bollock,
nevertheless your rants can do nothing to stop God.Many have been doing that. Some are still alive while some are dead, forgotten and buried and God's word still continues...

Big problem.
He did not safe anyone from sin.
He did not fullfill the messianic agenda.
He was not annointed.
He was not resurrected.(As via the papal statement)

the original writers of the New Testament used Iesous (Greek for Jesus) about 917 times to describe who Jesus truly was. However, there is not a single reference in the New Testament where Jesus is explicitly called by his Hebrew name Yeshua. But, in Matt. 1:21 we are told what Jesus' name is. "And she will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for it is He who will save His people from their sins."

And Mary (officially also of a virgin born, so holyness is definitely a female thing) was either greek/aramaic and thus a bit hazy on the implications of the name or had a broad sense of humor and liberal ideas.

I also like being literalist sometime, just to kick the hell out of it.
We know that the ghost-writers were ignorant and after all the scroll- and book- and people burning they simply had none to correct them, that's had they allowed correction.
