Since this magazine is out of Margarita Venegas care,
it is now a total status quo, elitist publication.
There is no political "balence" or representation of
the common middle class, or plight of the working people in Weatherford or Parker County. This is shameful that now this magazine and the Weatherford Telegram Newspaper, are in the same mode of advertising and glorifying of the top one percent.
It will certainly come to an end after the election in November of 2012. These Republican rednecks and
money greed motivated individuals, are in for a surprise!

I bet if you were on that "silly list" you wouldn't be complaining. And you sure seem upset about a magazine that "really does not seem to be something that is of real interest to the majority at all."

WEll, just that same nosey troublemaker from LA. That magazine had a better issue in Mar. At least it covered an issue of serious interest to most everyone who read about the animal shelter in Weatherfor.

It makes sense if you know what is going on in Weatherford. It is the first sign that the Parker County Today might be more than a news letter for a small social circle. It looks pleasing now but a few more informative and meaty articles won't hurt.

How can it be anything but a slick progranda sheet for the "self-appointed better than the regular people". Just look at the employees, they are just another group of of "Want-A-Bees" as in "Want-A-Bee" in the group of "Queen Bee Zan", the Republic County Chairman.

IT is easy to make a popular list if you advertise heavily in a magazine. Wonder if the First National Bank holds the magizine's note? Everyone knows Miz Prince is President of the Board or some such title cause her "daddy" owns the largest share of the stock in it or nearly the largest share. Wonder how she would make out on her own in today's job market? It appears she is approaching that "certian" age where it is hard to find employement that pays a living wage. Social position will not buy groceries or pay the bills.

WHAT same nosey troublemaker? Where else has this person posted? If anyone is NOSEY it is Marsha Brown. And the only reason that article went in there was because it was such a big story. The Democrat had already covered it from the beginning anyway. And what the HELL was that article after the AS one in the same issue. If THAT was supposed to be considered a "HE SAID-SHE SAID" type of thing, I would pissed if I were Diane Daniel. Marsha just goes with the popular vote no matter whether it is ruining someone's reputation to get their job or playing the most popular charity in towns song to get her name out there. Give it up Brown, everybody just wants you to go away.

I will be one to say I do NOT care for Marsha and her "rag". But in the March 2012 issue about the Weatherford/Parker County Animal Sheater, she was right on.
There was and still problems with it that are The Weatherford City Council responsibility and none other. They do not want to deal with it. They have tried to sweep it under the "rug". They we able to "pull the wool over the voters eyes" in the recent election by picking up "their No Kill animal shelter " signs.
Well, you get what you get.

Bahahahaha.
How do you avoid getting sued? It's so easy to track anything that goes through email these days and I'm sure Topix has pretty deep pockets. I guess there's money in the business of giving these sickos a platform for juicing their sour grapes.
Ha! It is fun to read the rants and guess what their problems lurk behind the gripes.
This stop, stop, stop post, the guy sounds like a scorned lover. He's airing his dirty laundry and doesn't have a clue he's doing it. Try Cialis Buddy. I hear it helps.
Keep up the good work, Topix. It is entertaining, for sure.

Well, No Knowledge (apt name) Stop, Stop, Stop will soon find out if he keeps up the habit of libel. Maybe he'll provide updates.

"Get a life?" Really? I'm not the one posting long, rambling personal attacks that reek of painful rejection and emotional wounds. No life? Hardly. That would be Stop, Stop, Stop.

What kind of life do any of you have? Is that magazine all anybody thinks about? Looks like none of you have a life. I used to read it when they had all the local history stuff. Now, I ENJOYED that. My life doesn't end just because they don't do them now.
Why do you Dallas people care about some small town gossip magazine? You should be complaining about the Dallas Morning News and how it has shrank down to nothing. Why are you picking on a little magazines from little Parker County? We're lucky to have anything to read that is about our town.
Why don't you mind your own Dallas business? Why aren't you on Dallas Topix or don't they have Dallas Topix?
Want her to leave town? You're in Dallas. Why do you care if she leaves town? Do you want her to come to Dallas and open a magazine? What do you know or care about Weatherford banks or bankers?
Why would anybody care. Read it or do not read it. That is your choice. You want her to leave? Makes no sense unless you're a competing magazine. They don't have a competing magazine. So what's your problem?
I'm bored with you all. I'm going back to the dog stories.

Only occasionally read the magazine. Don't have a problem with it. Looks good but Im just not that interested in what's going on with the beautiful people of Parker County or Fort Worth or really any other place either. Never read People Magazine. I'm glad they finally got rid of that loud, obnoxious sales girl. What idiot hired her? Who'd think anyone would want to buy anything from somebody that is so rude?
Her Sales speal-"Hiiiii-iiiii. I'm not from here. Let me waste your time. I'll tell you everything that's wrong with everybody here. Blah, blah, blah. Everybody is stupid here. They don't know how to do anything. I'm from New York. Noone's smart like in New York. Okay, now, we need to get you into the magazine. You need a million dollar ad so you can get more stupid customers from here." All the time your business piles up. New girl's better but Still

Don't know what Leagle Beagle is supposed to mean, but as far as I understand, libel isn't libel if it is TRUE. Is that correct or incorrect?

Do you have money to hire an attorney who specalizies in a feild you want to file a suit in. Start with a $10,000 retainer and plan on $100,000+ to see it thru.

Some times it really pays off to be a good citizen and know local attorneys. Those cost seem to disappear. And, of course it cost nothing to take evidence of wrongdoing to the State and Federal Govt agencies who rule over elected officials. Isnt life grand? It is when you have lived a life in support of humanity, not just your own pocket.
