Dozens of picketers arrived outside of the new Walmart site in Lakeville on Friday morning to protest the use of what they call "unskilled and underpaid workers" by the project's sub-contractor. Local 512 A of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers began the protest at 7 a.m. on Friday.

They are whining because they have no work. They have not picketed in a while because they were busy then. Iron workers have no work, So they are upset with the people who do.

Lance your just not to bright are you. I know the internet gives all the chance to be heard but some should just stay quiet any way. I would explain all the reasons that comment is so far off base but it would just be lost on you and there just is'nt enugh people on this site to make clairity worth my while.

The only reason there pickiting is now is because there unemployment benefits must have run out!

So now Friday the 25th after learning of the large numbers of men picketing and news coverage AME opted for not showing up for work. This makes is impossible to picket for the 512. I have no regret in saying AME has lived up to the age old union name for non-union contractors who cross lines and break down working conditions...That name is RAT!

I know what you mean. I had all the work taking pensions and life saving from hard working folks. Then that little pip squeek, Tom Petters came along and took all my work. Uffda, was I mad!!!

Glad to know the republicans may be taking over soon, we need unregulated free trade. Had Obama not been in office, I may still be out playing the game.
