Mosaic shareholder formally cut ties with Cargill

Shareholders of Plymouth-based fertilizer producer Mosaic voted today to sever the company's last formal ties to Cargill, and become what its CEO termed "a fully independent company." The shareholder vote passed with an 58 percent majority, the company said.
