Be on the Lookout for Emerald Ash Borers

Mar 31, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Patch.com

The emerald ash borer is no longer a distant threat. It's been found in Shoreview, two separate areas in Minneapolis and other Minnesota locations since it was first spotted in 2009.

it was found here in Brooklyn Park. the trees in the condo complex I live in. the association had hired a company to deal with all the ash trees in our complex.
.
several of the trees were found to have had the infestation of the emerald ash borer and had to be treated.
.
so having a heads up that it might happen again up here is nice. this way if a tree is noticed, that it can hopefully be treated.

It's easy to spot. Watch for Government trucks carrying tree parts. Last summer the borer was spotted in the Pigs Eye area of St Paul. The first time in that area. Not coincidense that Government trucks carry infested Ash trees to Pigs Eye for disposal.

The Government is spreading the borer.
