Must be that robust Republican economy touted by TCF's officers and lawyers at Powerline.

Good, hopefully this is the start of the end for what has to be one of the worst banks in the entire USA, TCF.

TCF is THE worst bank out there.

They willdo anything to squeeze their customers and employees for every last dollar. Service is atrocious, turnover is very high, I cant believe anyone still banks there.

I think all banks are generally evil, but I find they are a necessary evil.

I opened my first account with TCF in 1975. I had a few years in the 80's at a different bank and then went back to TCF. I have been with TCF for 18 years straight now and have had my ups and downs.

In the past couple years I had some difficulty with TCF, so I got mad and opened an account at Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo treated me far worse than TCF ever did and I hated banking there. The downtown St. Paul Wells Fargo treated me like crap every time I came in. TCF was a piece of cake in comparison to what I endured at Wells in just a few months. I won't bank at Wells again.

As an employee, i find i am treated fairly well compared to other companies i have worked for. The only reason i can fault TCF for our turnover rate is because they will hire 18 year olds with just a highschool diploma. They are not there for a career and generally will leave more easily.

yeah they hire 18 years old for a teller job, which should be a very simple job for an 18 year old. I am sorry to inform you this but I have worked for a couple banks and 18 years old gets hired everywhere
