I feel newspapers need to have respect for the families and friends of people that are in accidents and lose their lives. Would they want their loved ones in pictures all over the front page? No, I don't think so. So please reporters, think about who you're hurting before you do things like that to sell more papers and get your facts straight before you print anything. This was my 14 year old granddaughter's father in this picture. How do you think she feels seeing this? Don't you think she's suffering enough in this situation? Don't make it any worse than it already is.

THAT is how the media works sad to say, they don't run stories like this, nobody watches, bake sales and kite contests don't sell the papers or get people to tune in.
Sorry for your loss, but that has been the norm since day 1 for the media, you won't change that.
You can however spin it and use it as a tool to help others(the seat belt issue for instance)

if the stories are true, there's nothing wrong with it, but I don't feel they need to put the pictures that are going to hurt the families on there also. It's not necessary. When it happens to someone in the media, I hope they're as hurt as much as my granddaughter was. Maybe then they'll realize what they're doing to others. Wake up people, true, he wasn't wearing a seat belt but people with seat belts die also, so it's really neither here nor there. Either way, people die.

Why are people always judging other people, whether he was wearing a seat belt or not , he paid the ultimate price. would you want your loved one to die just because they weren't wearing a seat belt. who do you think you are, to pass judgement on leon, he was a wonderful person and i loved him very much. he was my niece's father and everybody makes mistakes, have you never forgotten your to buckle your seat belt? the next time that you do, do you want to have a wreck and die? think people you are only hurting his 14 year old daughter more by judging the actions of her dad. she loved him very much and is having a really hard time, if you can't be nice, why do you have to be a smart ass
