Shenandoah Acres Campground Re-Opens

For 70 years, an Augusta county summer usually meant a trip to Shenandoah Acre. The family-owned resort shut down after the 2004 season but now it's back open with grand plans for the future.

Well, it's a shame, but the owners closed it back down and it is up for sale. They laid off the manager and pulled the equipment out of the lake. Nothing is going on there. The owners want to sell the property. Seems like they lied to everybody, most of all the man they put out of a job. Gary and Petie Eavers just don't care. I know them and they are NOT good people to be owning this.

I camp there over the years had a great time and will miss it.To bad someone should open it nice campground.
