Maximum sentence allowed by law for citizen Szumigala!
No plea bargain. As totally irresponsible person he must pay the price.

We can only hope that Dottie Bowers spends the rest of her sorry life in prison.

She needs to have a max.sentence. This is so crazy, unreal, unprofessional of a babysitter. She should be held accountable for this...1.)She was not a licensed babysitter.2.)She should have NEVER,NEVER left a 10 year old alone w/ a baby.3.)Not getting medical help for the baby as soon as possible, when she knew there was something wrong;and don't give me this shit of her being in SHOCK, for that long period of time. No, don't buy it at all!!! She has made way to many mistakes and should be held responsible for her actions. I feel very sad for the Ryders and also for the Bowers family too, but Dottie needs to take what is coming to her. This ALL could have been prevented, if only Dottie would have thought first of what could have been. So, w/ this said; May GOD be w/ The Ryders family and Please bring closure to a terrible incident and may this NEVER,NEVER happen to anyone else. Any babysitter; SHOULD ALWAYS BE LICENSED....God Bless you all!

We need to remember the actions are alledged by a 7 yr old girl with whom no matter what she changes her story to shes never participated in any wrong doing that day. Yea right!!

The mother didnt wait 20 minutes to call. She was on her way home from work when the sitter called. The sitter acted as if the baby was just having a little problem and even so, the mother told her to call 911 and the sitter refused. When the mom got there 10 minutes later and saw what shape the baby was in and started CPR while calling 911 at the same time because the sitter still refused to help. The mom had no idea what was going on with the baby until she got there because the sitter acted as if it was nothing and even stated, "We dont need them here."
