I don't understand why the chief of waynesboro is trying to make these kids be something that their not, a lot of fights have went on in waynesboro and he have never said that it was gang related until the new gang police Nelson came here. the so called gangs are just clearly stated the neighborhood where there from and that's pretty much every were you go not just in waynesboro but the police want to labor these young teens who have plans for a bright future out to be something that they are not all to make their station look good. just because you walk a certain way, look a certain way, dress a certain way, talk a certain way hang with a certain crowd or get in a fight a time or to does not make a gang member and the bad part about it is the police know that these kids don't have a clue on what it takes to be in a gang and they could very well be putting these kids lives in danger when it comes to a real gang member such as bloods, crips and folks the real gangs. so how is just saying where your from make you a gang member. just a thought.

Its a shame the choices teens make not just in Waynesboro but everywhere . People die everyday over nonsense. I personally don't think that the chief gave these young men their name obviously they created their own name it wasn't the chief who faught or committed the crimes. The thing is its said that these young men made bad choices but to point fingers at someone who is doing their job is wrong. Waynesboro is a place many people call home and would like to live in peace. How many lives must one small town lose to see that something should have been done about Waynesboro streets. Clearly we know that there are ni bloods or crips the real gang but the fact these kids created their own trouble not the police. What if it was someone you cared about who had to deal with what supposedly took place or was hurt by either group of men.Gang or not they label themselves as ogb g stands for gang for those who don't know. How does it feel to sleep hearing gun shots all night or to hear we this or that every night. Have you seen the stop signs they lablef with there name we are not chiefs and indians and this is real life. This was talked about before Nelson came back in April 2011 it was brought up yet nothing changed they still terrorized neighborhoods like what the call the Pecan Orchard In which I grew up there never once did we have so much havoc as now. Kid's will be kids but when others life are at stake justice needs to be done. Must kids keep getting hurt things keep going as they are because of where you live where you stay has nothing to do with carrying guns fighting coming in to people homes and etc. They created their own trouble not the police people didn't do this they did. We all have choices so make the right one. A native of bc!

I agree with you all the way because they didi give them their selves that name and yes they were very wrong for going to people houses but how ever I also say that this yes they need t be in jail right now to learn the value of their lives as well as others because it has to stop some where & sometime God will allow things to go on in your life and put you in a place just to save a life & only God him self know if these kids are in a gang or not and in the end every one will know to because only God can judge the know matter what man say God has the final say & I also say that the police was not wrong for taking them to jail because they have a job to do but we got to keep in mind that we all have done things in life but not all of use have gotten caught and another thing I do know is the streets are not safe because of the police, just because these kids are locked up that does not make the crime stop its the person within themselves who make it stop because life is about the choices we all make, some ppl make smart ones & then there are some that don't but who are we to say what's right and what's wrong, and and another thing fights go on all the time and it's easy for us to say what should or should not go on but somethings are just out of or control, will the fighting it's sad to say but it will never stop no matter how many lives we lose or how many people go to jail somethings will never change but it need to stop, all I was saying was some of these kids have their whole lives ahead of them, yes they all should have thought about their actions before they did that but should they be lable as hard core gang banger NO I don't think so, think about this if every one is co called complaining about this need to stop what do you think if that hold up in court and that felony go on these kids records & they can't get a good paying job, & they start doing any & everything just to have money in their pockets robbing, stealing, killing I mean just really doing things that they should not do all because of them wanting to be cool man know one will be able to sleep at night forreal then just something to think about.

First, these young men have families that cares for them. To be treated
like "Big City" gangs are an insult to their families, as well as Waynesboro.
There are no summer programs for these kids to work and make a little
money. This gives them a feeling of self worth. It seems all the law does is sit
and wait to arrest. Every since President Reagan in 1988 stopped the summer work programs, our kids have become roaming groups with nothing to do. So these so-called crimes, are acts of pure boredom. Rather than have them prisoners working on the side of the road for nothing, why not creat jobs for them to be on BEFORE they become a prisoner. Now they are stuck with the big "F", a Felon. Who are going to hire a felon? All of this stems from as fore mentioned, boredom, with nothing to do.

Most parents in Burke County need a wake up call. Stop upholding your child in their wrong then crying "my child was a good child and he going to heaven" after he has gotten shot down and killed during his act of wrongness. And people wonder why Burke County doesn't have anything for the children to do after school...because of naive parents like this raising disrespectful, uneducated, unmotivated, simply minded hell raising children such as those individuals. I hope they arrest all of them and send them to the military where they can learn some displine and become productive citizens unlike those who label themselves parents.
