These children that are being bullied you need to report it and document it then take it to the state. Get your child some counseling as soon as possible. Request that the county transport your child to an out of county school if you request it based on bullying and you can prove it they have to pay to bus your child to another school district or pay for private tuition.

I'm not blaming the principle. This is the whole school's problem. They need to be more active in anti-bullying programs, getting the parents involved instead of excluding them, and enforcing a stricter policy on bullying.

I disagree. The principal sets the tone for the school. If bullying occurs, it is the principal's responsibility to stop the bullying. Period.

It happens in grade school too. That's where they need to start. I know from personal experience that friendships with kids parents keep certain kids out of trouble. It seemed no matter what happened to my child, they tried to make it his fault. NOTHING justifies another child fighting with or humiliating you child with names. If there is a next time, I will go to the school board and hopefully something WILL be done. Our bully moved on to middle school this year and so far it's been a great year, but I dread it next year. I just hope he's grown up. It starts at home people, we all need to teach our children that this won't be tolerated. My prayers are with the family of this child. I can't imagine their grief.

I am very confused. How can an adult yell and scream at other adults and children then try to teach the wrongs of being a bully when adults can be bullies themselfes. This kind behavior is very disrespectful.Bullying is not only among students and it happens everywhere. I was bullied when I was young and it continued to my work until I had to quit my job because of my depression. Not only children can be bullies but so can adults.

Enough bashing the staff at BMS. They are always friendly anytime I pick up my daughter. I have heard that things are worse this year since Mr. Waughaman left.

My son is in Buffalo Middle school and gets bullied beyond belief. The school says they deal with it but I have not seen any improvement at all. If anything it seems to be getting worse. I have tried to stay out of it for fear of making the bullying worse. Now kids in the neighborhood are coming and telling how bad the bullying is getting for my son. I'm thinking of putting him into Wayne Middle school. Now, I know bullying happens everywhere but it seems to be so much worse at Buffalo Middle school I wanted to know if anyone know is Wayne Middle School is any better when it comes to bullying? Or is the bullying about the same?

It wasn't just one kid or a couple kids. Buffulo's bullying problem go way beyond that. They have a problem with what is callef "group or social" bullying Where is is a pack of kids bullying one kid at a time

See your kid would be able to handle a little harassment but since he's been raised by a woman he doesn't have the balls to take up for himself.
