BY THE WAY, It sounds like someone is scared Stephens will be elected. I did look in public records for personal bankruptcy and I found TEDDY MAYS... Wonder why the chicken fighter wasn't mentioned!!!

Excuse me here, but what does one's financial situation have to do with their ability to be a good judge? Looks to me like some of you are fishing for smack topics. What matters is if the candidate is honest, moral, and looking out for the good of the community. Take everything you read on this forum with a grain of salt because just like rumors spread by mouth, the ones on here are just the same...all have a bit of truth mixed with some exaggeration and plain ignorance.

Since it seems you must be a hilljack and haven't receieved the news he was found not guilty. Everyone is so brave writing false information about people but they never use their name. Your so happy with the courthouse then you must be a "yes" person and do everything they ask. When is the Ferguson reunion?
.......I agree with u ,I knew Tommy Toler was innocent from the beinging I have knew him for yrs and never heard a bad thing about him...When i heard that about Tommy I was shock and couldn;t believe what people was say about a person that was honest and would never do anything like that ...Tommy has always treated people right and they just wanted someone to pick on so they ( assures)thouhgt i would pick Tommy and put his name on the line and they really did that..I knew he never did anything like that because he showed his face all around the town and never gave up he just keep on fighting for his righs..The way to go Tommy Toler ,If u run again in office I would vote for u ....

to bull.it is a fact you need to look alittle bit more. The fact is Mr.Ramey did in fact spend time in jail. But this is Wayne Co They make there own rules as they go along. In all honesty Mr.Ramey is a good guy, BUT HE IS NOT SHERIFF MATERIAL.If i decide to vote for anyone of the above men mentioned running for sherriff it will be Greg Farley. He will do what he says he will do.Besides he watched over wayne co people for many years as a state tropper. If you want someone in as sheriff that will do the job he is your man.

Let me get something perfectly straight. I do not know Mr. Mays or Mr. Toler. I have had to deal personally with Jason Stephens and know unequivocally that he is neither honest nor moral and is looking out for no one other than Jason Stephens. "Scared to see him elected" - I would say deeply saddened but not surprised if such a corrupt man were to get elected. I know the truth because I have lived it. He is not worth two cents. If his personal and public records don't bother you, than by all means elect him. You get what you vote for.

How about a decent man who is running for magistrate, L.C. Maynard ? Just about everyone that knows him knows he don't drink, does a bunch of favors for folks that own 4 wheelers at his ATV repair place. I don't think he ever did anyone wrong on any work he has done, he don't have nothin to do with drugs and is a decent man as far as I know.

the magistrates would do a much better job if they just listened to the cases and quit counting votes. It doesn't hurt to lose if you feel as though you were treated fairly.

lets be realistic, teddy is kinda simple, but really has his heart in the right place. Some of the things that make him look bad are requests that y'all should never ask him to do in the first place, and the current just below the surface is " if you don't help me we won't be for you next time ". Tucker is kinda like Kent Mills, counting votes, and not pounding the pavement, you can't win a race from the bench, even as good as David Ferguson has been, he could not win without campaigning. Shoot even Darrell Pratt has to buy signs now, although I wonder why. Walker said he's only trying for the second seat but he'll win crum area. The school board guys that repair stuff while driving from Tommy Tolers house to the courthouse to get a ticket fixed, in a school board truck know how to do it. They said walkers a winner, they may be right. Then maybe walker can get a school board truck too. I would'nt mind having one myself.

remember, walker isnt running for "the second seat" While he may be hoping to get enough attention so that he is considered for that seat IF its created, there is only one seat on the ballot in may, and thats the one circuit judge seat we have now. Ive heard people say they can vote for walker without hurting Pratt and thats just not true. Walker is running against Pratt in may, and only one of them can win. The second seat wont be an issue untill later, if at all, and the results of this election have nothing to do with who gets that second seat.

Need to clarify! There are two candidates by the name Ferguson on the ballot this election. Although the above comment is correct, it should not have be posted in the Magistrate forum. Because David Ferguson is running for Magistrate and C. W. Ferguson III is running for Circuit Judge. Just wanted to clarify this comment. Please vote David Ferguson for Magistrate!!!

exactly right, thats why i said walker instead of using the last name.. the only reason I mentioned it here in this thread was becaseu OW TOO had mentioned it in their post above about Darrell having to buy signs and Walker saying he was only running for the second seat. I definately think everyone should support Magistrate David Ferguson, he does a great job. And Jude Pratt desrves to continue as circuit judge for as long as he wants to.
i did start a different thread on this and any comments on the circuit judge race should be made there.

sorry about any confusion,

dont get so upset! It amazes me how much influence he still has up there, even after the past allegations.I wasnt running him down, its those school loafers everybody can see. thats what irritates me. I make 10.25 per hour and cant hardly keep my elec on, these guys make a fortune and loaf. somethings not fair. let them carry block 8 hours a day, in snow or sun. they wouldnt last til lunch.
