ITS A CRYING SAME THAT THE KIDS THAT ARE ADVANCED HAVE TO STAY BACK WITH KIDS THEIR AGE INSTEAD OF ADVANCING WHERE THEY BELONG BECAUSE OF THE NEW AGE INSTEAD OF WEIGHT. IT HAS ITS UP AND DOWNS. BUT THE 7 GOING TO BE 8 IN LESS THAN A MONTH SHOULD GO BY HOW THEY PERFORM NOT AGE, THE SAME ON ALL THE KIDS WITH A MONTH INTO PRACTICE. LOOK AT C TEAM THE HEAD COACH BILL ISNT LETTING THE OTHER 30 KIDS PLAY HE MAKES THE SAME 7 KIDS PLAY OFFENSE AND THE SAME 7 PLAY DEFENSE BUT THERE IS ALOT OF THE OTHER 30 KIDS JUST SITTING ON THE BENCH THAT WOULD BE 10 IN A MONTH OR SO AND COULD HAVE WENT TO TEAM B AND GET MORE PLAYING TIME THAT BILL IS GOING TO LET THEM. I DONT DISAGREE THE 7 HE HAS IN ISNT GOOD THEY ARE PLUS THEY ARE COACHS KIDS OR COACHS SUCK-UPS BUT AFTER THE SAME 7 KEEPS PLAY FOR THE WHOLE GAME THEY ARE TIRED THE 30 JUST SITTING THERE WOULD BE MORE AT BENEFIT. HE KEPT THE SAME 7 WELL ACTUALLY 8 AND ONLY ROTATED 3 KIDS WHICH WAS THE SAME 3 THE WHOLE GAME. SCOTT AND JP AT LEAST LAST YEAR LET E KID TOUCH A FOOTBALL FIELD EXCEPT AT TURF THEY DIDNT, WHICH WASNT RIGHT, BUT IF BILL KEEPS THE C TEAM LIKE THIS HE WONT GO FAR THEY COULDNT EVEN BEAT VINSON WHICH ISNT A STRONG TEAM ONLY BC THE SAME 7-8 KIDS AND THE SAME 3 ROTATION, THEIR ISNT A KID OR A PARENT THAT CAN NOT SAY A KID THAT PLAYS ALL 4 QTR IS BETTER OR STRONGER THAN A KID THAT PRACTICES THE WHOLE TIME AND HAS HARD BUT SITS ON BENCH WITH THE OTHER 30 KIDS. ANY COACH KNOWS THAT KIDS DOES GET TIRED AND THEY NEED TO QUIT PUSHING THE SAME ONES OVER AND OVER, AND PLA THE ONES THAT SHOWS UP AND DOES THEIR PRACTICE JUST LIKE THE OTHER 7 OR 8

I HAVE COACHED, AT OTHER SPORTS BUT HAVE COACHED MANY YEARS BUT AT LEAST I AM A FAIR COACH. I CAN B PROUD OF THAT I DONT CARE IF I HAVE ONE THAT ISNT WORTH A LICK AT THE SPORT I STILL PLAY THEM AND LET THEM FEEL GOOD ABOUT THEIR SELF ANYMORE THE PROBLEMS ARE THAT ITS ALL ABT WINNING NOT A GOOD TIME FOR THE KIDS OR FUN, AND THE 7-8 THAT BILL IS DOING TO THE C TEAMERS AND PRACTICE 3-4 NIGHTS A WEEK THEY B WORE OUT AND I CAN BET THAT C WONT WIN TO MANY BC THE OTHER 30 STILL SITTING AND STRONG AND I KNOW THAT AT LEAST 15 OUT OF THAT 30 HAS PLAYED SEVERAL YEARS, IT SHOULD B FOR THE KIDS NOT THE COACHES AND WINNING. THATS THE POINT AND C-TEAM AT WAYNE IT ISNT AND THATS Y THEY COULDNT BEAT VINSON BC THEY WAS TIRED, LET ALL PLAY OR AT LEAST BE IMPORTANT NOT THE SAME. Good luck coaching at Wayne - not going to happen unless you are in the "click". They pick their friends to coach or the ones who can stay at the field for 8 hours.

I agree offense and defense both ways 2 hard on kids my son played like that 4 years,he said it was hard. But if you get the kid let them play.

Wayne youth football You must be talking out of ignorance. I seen the scrimmage game between vinson and Wayne and every kid got in the game. they were rotating like crazy. Have you really watched a practice because I have. Its not the same kids on offense and defense. There may two or three but they get subbed in and out as well. Another question is why would you put a child in on defense that wont hit and cries around all the time. If I was coach I would put in the ones that work the hardest and just plain and simple better than the other ones. My son dont play a whole lot but I believe he has to earn his position. If you dont; go play at buffalo I hear their #'s are down maybe your son can be a super star there because this C-team is pretty good.

So you must be in the "click" to come off with remarks like this. "If you dont like it-go somewhere else and play" That is why alot of talented kids dont even bother with WYFL. It's a joke - always has been.

If its a joke then why dont you change it? If it is so one sided and all about the click then why not stop it? All I hear is a bunch of sour pusses complaining but, to lazy to do anything about it. And by the way I am not in any click. I was not raised around here just know the game of football and what it takes to be successful. According to you people if I was in a click my son would start offense and defense. Its your ignorance of the game that is causing all your heartaches.

My child does not play on the C team nor any other team at Wayne, but I do know how the little league works, its not about the ability of the player, but who their mommy & daddy are or even worse who they were when they played ball. Its so sad to watch kids work their ass off to get pushed aside because the coach already before season starts has decided who will play what positions. And for those of you who say "Sounds like you need to coach" Let me say this, its not as easy to coach in Wayne as you may think, because not everyone out there will kiss ass to get it!!! Too bad the coaches they have this year are not there for the kids, but for their own self glory or to relive what they never got to do, or even worse to make sure that their child gets playing time....

It's not only the games, it happens at practice too. All the kids practice for the first 30 minutes to an hour, the last hour or so is spent practicing plays. About 20 or so kids actually practicing while the other 10 or 15 are setting around on the side lines waiting to get called in when they decide to rotate 3 or 4 kids for 5 minutes. Of course the kids are horse playing and goofing off when they're not practicing, they're bored! If all the kids were treated equally and practiced and played equally, they would have one hell of a C team, fresh and strong. Sure you're going to have a few who don't have much talent or interest in the game, but if you work them all equally hard those few will either gain some interest and learn a few skills or quit. With 4 or 5 coaches out there, every kid should be involved in practicing something all during practice not just the first half. Just stating my opinion, of course nothing will change I'm sure. "Well" said it with "its not about the ability of the player, but who their mommy & daddy are or even worse who they were when they played ball."

Politics in youth league sports exist almost everywhere. It may happen to be worse in Wayne, from what I hear, but neither I nor my husband come from a so-called "popular" family in Wayne and our child participates just as much as any other kid.

Of course there are a few that are an exception. Thats a given in any situation. Good for him!!

There numbers are down and there coaching sucks. The same thing goes on there just like everywhere else. If you are not in the click then you don't play. I agree you must earn a position but you can sub a little to keep the kids fresh.Back to Buffalo I wouldn't let my dog play there. Some of the coaches belittle the kids. Like, telling them the suck or they are not any good. B-team coach that is.

i have to agree with my opinion and well , it is true there is a few u might play on both sides but not the whole game with same 8 players with the other 30 sitting there, i know and have watched alot of the kids that are sitting on the sidelines waiting for their 2 second play has played for years and has worked their asses off and prove theirselfs at practice and the coachs isnt even man enough to tell the truth they keep making promises and breaking them. no offense e team doesnt have a chance but like it matters bc they follow d but the coaching there isnt no good, and the d team its the same players , c -tema mostly its the worse, but the comment to the person that u nor ur husband came from the family of wayne well u all must be kissin some ass or u know how to suck up and b 2 faced, or better yet i bet i know who u are and ur right ur child does bc they think he runs really fast, which he does if he can find a hole but he gets tired and to much expected out of him and all of them its rough out their on the kids. bottom line wayne youth isnt going to go far this year at all bc of the coaches and the president.

the dickerson lady i dont know who that is but if its d who u are talking about she has dickerson boys but not her last name she took back her maden name, so know what u are talking about 1st buffalo fan, which i support both schools, but i know d pretty well and the only reason shw quit is bc where she has been hurt since may, and school starting back and her leg not healing and has to contiue alot of work and surgery on it , she doesnt have the time nor feels like taking to something or a sport 4 times aweek to add to the problems she is having with her leg, so no offense buffalo fan whereever u heard that or u think whats going on ur dead wrong. so go tell ur friends up in wayne that the rumor is all wrong, its because of her leg and she didnt want to put anyone out of picking her kids up when its her responability, i understand buffalo fan i know u must be upset but its okay i am sure ur a a wayne suckup or one of the parent of the kids that they talk about in the paragranphs, so while u all are sitting around tonight u can set them straight or tell them what the web site to read.
