"Great Job, re creating a new allentown to repalce the downtown that the Puerto Ricans have distroyed. Hats off to ya!!"
And the sad part is that so MANY people believe this comment....
"Well, geez, that's because it is true. This is one American of Irish descent who literally fled because of the bad changes that the hispanics from New York and Jersey City brought with them. They just aren't nice people."
Well, all I can say is that we really shouldn't generalize. We can't say ALL Hispanics aren't nice people. People, no matter who or what they are can be mean and vile at times. Also, I am sorry that you left, but I hope that the same way I gave the West Side a chance yesterday,(yes, the West Side DOES have a reputation) you will give Center City a chance and come to some of our events that will be occurring this summer. I believe you will be pleasantly surprised and enjoy yourself just as I did.

CC Allentown is a dump; anyone saying anything otherwise is just trying to fool themselves. It's nice to watch a nice parade in a nice neighborhood with nice people, and downtown Allentown is definitely NOT the place to do that.
Cheers!

Let me guess there were NO Irish arrested, no shots were fired, no one drove through a Stop Sign with an Irish Flag covering the hood and the drivers complete line of vision, there is no need to discontinue the parade because of fights and gangs.

No that all happened at the CC parade, the ST. Patricks parade has been offered for over 100 years and no one had to cancel it or re-route it, and every one spoke English.

That all happens during the CC Pride parade, how could you mix them up?

I am really glad everything went well with the parade yesterday. I do have one question. What does Elvis Presley, Las Vegas and Hunka Burnin Love have to do with St Patrick, Ireland or being of Irish decent?
Months later ....I now see this but have to respond.........Marc,You obviously don't understand the concept of having a parade!!!! It's about having fun and being involved and active in the community!!! I don't recall ever hearing an Actual Theme!!!
It's a parade.....it's about having Fun!!!!!!

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Leo

Even though you usually pride yourself on being the strong silent type, love has a way of unlocking your tongue. The words coming out of your mouth may be familiar, but your sense of timing makes all the difference right now. Keep in mind that you never know how a risky gesture will work out, although you can always hope for the best. When in doubt, take the more cautious path.
