I read that other comment and I didn't think he was correcting the spelling, it was the song lyric. Whatever! There are much larger issues to be worried over these days...geeez third graders are plotting to kill their teacher and you are worried about someone's spelling?

Maybe 13s doing stuffs like this can still be understood (most of us getting emotional at this age) but 8s and 9s? You're joking at me. How did the parents didn't notice about the kid who brought the knife since they planned it a week ago? Besides, the teacher just SCOLDED the girl and the one on the wrong side is that girl. Being scolded is still a cake compared to what I'll get when standing on a chair.

I disagree with you. I am a school counselor and
a "good whipping with a paddle" is not what these
kids need. I am sorry you got whipped with a paddle. But discilining kids with physical abuse
only tears down their self esteem. There are many
other good ways to dispiline which set boundaries and also teach self respect and self control. If more parents were willing to learn a new way to discipline their children than many of the problems would stop.
