I have had three kids and loved my obgyn, he was never inappropriate to me. He was always there if I had any question or concerns. He never made any inappropriate remarks or passes at me. this day and time you might think about finding a woman OBGYN and the chance that she might be a lesbian. My point is you never know what ur getting into when seeing a doctor until your there. Dr. Diamond in Douglas is outstanding.

What does being a lesbian have to do w/any thing? If you had a straight female doctor examining a naked man, do you really think the doctor is going to get aroused and do something wrong ? NO. There probably are some men who wish this would happen, Lol, but it wont and we all know this. So are you saying lesbians have a stronger sex drive then straight woman. As we all know, men and woman are wired differantly.

Dr. Bridget Asbury in Tifton is great. I have used her for several years. There is also another lady OB-GYN in the practice with her.

Of course you would be safer. Google convicted gynecologist, there all men, have yet to see a woman. 99% of violent crime is committed by men.

Dr. Malmborg was my OB when I was pregnant. He was a blessing. Sad to know he is retiring in January.

There isnt any documented cases of a woman doctor abusing one of her patients, there are many of men doing so. See who you want, who cares. All I care about is my wife who is a good decent woman who see's a woman obgyn.

Very good point Ron! A straight female doctor ISN'T going to get turned on and try something with a male patient, so WHY would a lesbian doctor ?????? At the end of the day their still both females.

New guidelines on pelvic exams do not call for the bimanual exam. The doctors can't feel anything, never could. All the guidelines, A.C.S. A.C.O.G., W.H.O. Have stated that ovarian cancer cannot be detected this way. It's no wonder some of the better female obgyn's did this part of the exam so quickly. It had not been eliminated by guidelines yet so they still had to do it for liability reasons and check off the box on the health form that it had been done. I'm sure they wanted to do it as a quickly as possible seeing how incredibaley invasive it is. You just have to ask yourself why it was ever "made up" in the first place and continued being done sooo long when everybody new nothing could be felt. Did it take woman coming into the field to get rid of this "pretend test ?"

In the 34 years that I have seen OB/GYNs,I have only known of 1 who was a pervert! He is now in jail for his actions. Male or female, I have found good and bad in each. Find a doctor that your friends or family trust and try them. If you don't like him/her, keep looking. Just don't judge the doctor by his/her gender. Just ask around town!

One is to many and there's many more then one !!!!!!! Problem is they don't "police themselves," even the Police, police themselves, I.A. As a result someday there won't be any male gyns.
