Waxhaw drug roundup nets 16 drug dealers, police say

During the investigation, narcotics officers said they bought a variety of drugs in undercover buys, including heroin, marijuana, cocaine, crack cocaine, LSD and mushrooms.

Let's focus our resources on violent criminals. Until you can stop the demand, you will never stop the supply, it only shifts. Learn to use your brain by leveraging tax and regulation. Haven't we learned anything from our past? Prohibition will never work and you continue to promote an underground economy that helps no one. Please open your mind and think outside the box. No one should be punished for what they put in their body. It's a choice. Preservatives and fast food aren't regulated to such a degree and cause far more death's annually, but that's the American way. Don't get me started on prescription drugs. My liver and kidneys cringe at just the thought of trying to deal with all of their "legal" wonders. We are better than this as a country. Stand up for what is right and don't force an antiquated idealogy on the rest of society.

Heroin,, cocaine,crack cocaine, LSD and mushrooms have no place in our society.....on the other hand I believe that medical marijuana should be considered. Cannabis I believe can safely be used for paper, rope, clothing etc.....which could be a good market for many places. but other drugs and drug dealers should be dealt with harshly.
