Child Protective Services is comin after my friend's family! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.
County Child Protective Services officials are targeting two Ellis County parents because of their “anti-government views,” according to documents Nathan Pennock and his wife Cristina.
Pennock was arrested for disorderly conduct after a neighbor called 9-1-1 for him carrying a shotgun on his own property.
“It’s not illegal to carry a shotgun,” Nathan said, who spent a night in jail for the misdemeanor offense.
It was the presence of flags and bumper stickers though, that got police and CPS’ attention.
His wife Cristina said that their “Don’t Tread on Me” flag, Ron Paul signs and Infowars.com bumper stickers were cited as reasons CPS caseworkers in Dallas County wanted to search their home and run their four children through a battery of home-study tests.
“We filed an answer to their request, but they want to search the house,” she said.
Under state law, one does not have to answer the door for CPS, unless accompanied by an officer.
