I was have been noticing the use of public property (the city parks) for the use of these bootcamp type groups. It really bothers me that these groups are making a tremendous amount of money at the local tax payer expense. Im sure these groups call themselves non-profit... but really? Theres lots of really good non profits but someone is making some money!just means no taxes. It would be really nice for the local business to get the same break, not to mention they are taking money out of local business who pay and contribute to the community. Lets also consider the liability issue. Its my opinion that the city should put a stop to this. I belive events must reserve or pay a fee.If these guys are allowed to continue I would suggest some kind of very limited access or not allow this at all.Its a business however you look at it. Its just not right to get a free ride.... I dont.
