You don't know much about Starr if you think mentioning Liz in a topic about Starr is 'off topic'. Starr is very close to the Seagraves family and always has been. Back off!

I have known starr since she was in grade school. My dad built their house in Piketon, along with other houses for Jim(john ritternour, for example.

and if you knew starr very well, you would have known that her first name is Elizabeth, which is what her close friends called her.like I said, Johnnie was my best friend, and Liz will tell you that, too.

and along with mark and mike, I was allowed to visit during her "annuals". you do know what they were, dont you?.

BTW, to the PPL fan. John David is my cousin

BTW, when I mentioned "Mocking bird hill" on my first post,

it was a reference to a song that she had recorded, many years ago, and Johnnie and I listened to it often.

and if you think that I dont know her very well, ask Munch, or America.LOL

Oh gosh does this thread bring back some wonderful but often fuzzy memories. I loved to hear her sing
tra la la, tweedle dee dee dee
it gives me a thrill
to wake up in the morning
to the mockingbird's trill
tra la la, tweedle dee dee dee
there's peace and good will
you're welcome as the flowers
on mockingbird hill
I can remember begging her to sing that song when we were all out at bars or parties and having fun. and i was also good friends with chris seagraves too, they were inseparable there for a while.
yes starr used to have a beautiful voice, don't know if she still does. I saw her not too long ago but didn't get to talk to her. I was at work. That is such a very old song, I doubt that very many people are familiar with it, but boy I am!

i didn't think that this would turn into a drug thread, but since i was indeed a big user "back in the day"....we talked about rorer 714's already, how many remember tuinols a red and blue capsule, or placidils either came in red (burgandy) or green capusles and you knew you were about to "get off" when you could taste them in your throat? then there were parest either pink or blue capsules and also the harder to get sopors in green, yellow or orange with an A/S on them. i remember going to Athens to get those. i also remember chris seagraves had some mescaline (from the peyote cactus) and we had a lost weekend blast. there are several more illegal drugs i remember taking back then and i'm suprized that i'm still around to talk about it. but it is fun to reminisce. those were the days! i wish we could have a reminisce party sometime, not to do drugs, just to talk about the old times. i'm clean now and have been for years and years.
