So many houses being burglarized lately, will it ever stop?? I feel as if the waverly police are letting us down. Does anyone have any idea who might be doing this stuff because if so we need to stand up as a community and do somehing about it.

it wont stop until the police dept. and the sheriff dept. start arresting people and they get prosecuted and do some time, also there are some ppl that do know and they need to turn these theives in to the authorities, other than that be careful and arm yourself

The trouble is, the deputies arrest them, but the court system let them go.

The state of Ohio says there are to many people in prison now.they the courts don't want to give any one time only as a last resort. that's why they deal and let these low life snitch on one another to get out of trouble.

People may think twice one someone shoots and kills a burglar. But you have to make sure you actually kill them or the tax payers will be on the hook. My brother lives in Arizona. Every house in his neighborhood had gotten hit. Last Halloween he just turned off all the interior and exterior lights. Within four hours, two kids were screwing with his sliding glass door. As soon as it opened, BOOM. One dead 14 year old and one paralyzed 15 year old. The parents tried to sue! They lost, but asked for a public apology. My brother said at the news conference "I'm sorry your kids were not raised better". Not a burglary since. Take back your town. Buy a gun and use it.

Don't expect the cops to do anything. We got to take it into our own hands. I just bought a 380 so if I am home when they try to break in I will take car of them and if they're in my home when I get home, you can bet I will take care of them on my own as well. You can't expect other people to take care of you. You got a take care of things on your own and if shooting a low life thief is what it takes so be it.

i found a little device that will help folks get a lil head start on thieves.get you a wireless driveway alarm.you set the eye where you want to patrol and as soon as someone gets within range of the remote motion detector it will make a loud beep sound at the base inside.you can get up to 4 motion detectors to run off one base.it works extremely well.i got mine online but a buddy told me he found his at radio shack.everyone needs one of theese babies.you could set it up inside of a building and as soon as someone opens the door the motion sensor busts them and unless they see the green light on the sensor they will never know you are being beeped.its like a 24 hr guard. chamberlain (sp?) is the brand i use...hope this helps

That's great! Then when they break in, you can shoot their brains out! That's what it's gonna take. There need to be a few pill heads and kids getting shot dead to make the community realize that we mean business. When your crackhead friend ends up DEAD, it'll make you think twice before you run to burglarize some innocent person.

this isnt always the case.cathy farmer stoled 4000 to 6000 worth of farm equiment, plus horses, two riding lawn mowers, chain link fence, 400 feet of aluminum wire, numeous panel gates.
she even took tin off of my roof and used it to build a lean to for a woman on Newland Ridge road. she took a corvette rear clip, AND STOOD RIGHT THERE AND TOLD THE DEPUTY NUMEROUS TIMES THAT SHE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT. then when I called my wife, she then admitted taking it but said that my wife gave her permission(which she didnt), and she took it to the junk yard and sold it, and i doubt if it had 25 lbs of metal since it was fiberglass except for the bumper guards.

forgot that she even pulled up ALL of our copper gas lines, so we now have to buy new lines and lay them for heat.and took the radiator out of my truck, along with teh alternator and sold them to barkers out on Coal Dock according to Bill her ex boy friend, and her dad came out and took my litle trailer and then he tried to give me 50 dollars for it. I havent seen the trailer or the 50 bucks yet.

as the drug use in the county goes up so will the
burglaries. And as long as the Sheriffs dept continue to do nothing, why would the thieves stop?
they got me for about$3,000 worth of stuff!
