my daughter and her neighbors were robbed in towwn last night, probably by some punks. they broke into her and her husbands vehicles as well as a lot of their neighbors. this is really sad. i remember when we didnt have to worry about stuff like that in waverly. my daughter works very hard to get what she has and has a family to support. and these dam druggies are to lazy to get a job and have to steal off of people. they need to think about the children they are taking from, its not just the adult their stealing from but they are taking food out of a childs mouth and that is pretty low down. anyway the cops has their finger prints so it will just be a matter of time before they are caught and put in jail.

Hope you have better luck than my family did when we were broke into and had almost 2000 dollars of tools stolen from our garage. The deputy the sheriffs office sent out was a complete idiot. He had no clue what to do. He was actually taking directions from my 10 year old son. Sad. Boy old boy do I feel protected. He was more interested in the fact that one of his fellow deputies went down the road with his lights and sirens on than actually investigating the crime at hand. The criminal had spit on our garage floor and he refused to take the sample for DNA. He said it takes too long to get results. Pike County law enforcement is a joke.

The druggies think of nothing but how to get their next fix telling them all that is useless. What area of town did this happen? What were some of the things stolen so someone can be on the look out for them if they try to sell them?

I have heard to look at the flea markets outside of Pike County, but unless you have the product numbers it is useless to look for them. The person who stole and resold them still get off free. It is the person who bought them that will get in trouble for receiving stolen property. The system is so screwed up.

That crime watch vehicle sitting in front of the police dept. really helps. With it setting there no one should never break in to the police dept.Maybe they should hire Jerry Gillium since they have to ask him for information about it. Good luck waverly with are dept. and Jerry on the job the case should be solved in no time.

What amazes me is that people put this type of stuff on here but never say where it happened,if it really did happen (it is Topix you know), what was stolen. We have no news in this town,no police reports of anything it's like we live in the Bermuda Triangle. All I can say is Lock and Load if you catch someone stealing shoot them. We citizens are fed up with this.

Go stuff a sock!! You're just so brilliant. The things country folks own is just as important to them as it is for the city dudes to have theirs stolen.
