So I have been asking for a game schedule because my son plays in Waverly. A co worker of mine brought me her schedule. I guess she got it earlier this week. My son should be playing Monday and I still can not get schedule.

I was told the person over waverly teams was gripping about it and wants it changed. My son wants to play ball. He is going to miss because Matt (I am assuming this because website says he is the one over that league) I am sure it does not fit into his schedule. He has always fixed schedule to fit his needs. Our kids are not even on the website. I went and looked and over 100 kids on there but NOT one major kid. I guess we will not play or be on the website.

If anyone has more info please share. If it was not to late I would go somewhere else to play. They wonder why the number of players continue to fall.

My son and the others will suffer because someone wants to complain about schedule. This is unfair maybe the people over Waverly baseball has forgot it about ALL kids not just thier kids!

I too am having same problem. I talker to a board member personally. I was told that was not his league and he had no idea about what was happening with schedule. His son is 12 so he understand why I want a schedule but said he sure as soon as it was final we would have it.

To be that shows Matt must be trying to fix it. He always fixing everything teams, schedul, all stars all to bengit him and his team. I too have seen schedule. I bet 100.00 he will get it changed. It is horrible the rest of the board allow him to do this.

If it makes you feel better, the WGYL haven't passed out schedules yet either or not to all girls. We have games this coming week and don't know when or where.

That is bogus. I am not from Waverly. My son will be playing against them, and I barely know Matt at all (not one of his fans). But I will say that in his defense, it is not up to him. The county makes the schedule. There was a problem with too many games being scheduled at the same time, and it had to reworked for that reason. Whether you like him, or not, he is spending his own time, without being paid other than the satisfaction of trying to provide a league for YOUR children as well as his own. I know there has been contraversy over him. I have no clue if he was in the wrong, or not, but the rest of you are free to step up and try to make a difference too. If he is so bad, why is he still there? There has to be a board, and if the community has a problem with the board, they can step up and fix that problem too. I guess it would just be easier to bash on what you have though.

I talked to a board member they said Waverly rep did not show up. Matt is mad and having a cry baby fit. He wants it all changed or he is pulling Waverly out of league.Games start Monday kids are the ones being hurt. Some kids will be at ballpark wanting to play and no team because some coach is mad about the schedule! What a shame.

Please know the facts before getting on hear talking trash about people. There are alot of issues with the schedule and it has nothing to do with Matt's son. I have known Matt for 4 years now and stand behind him 100%. If anyone has any further questions or concerns about the schedule I urge you to contact me so you can get the facts. Please dont turn to a gossip website to get your info.

I have no doubt it is not for Matt's son. I know you are the perso. He is coaching with. I heard he does not want to play weds because of church. I am a parent of a player on a different team, I really go to church Tuesday and Thursdays, I had this discussion with a different board member last year. He told me he understands but we can not make everyone happy. I believe arrangements should not be made for a certain church unless you can make for all. I talked with a person who has set through the county meetings, and they said Matt did not go to meetings now wants it his way. There are games scheduled 6 days a week when I signed my kid up I planned to play on all 6 of those days just alike 90 percent of parents. I bet most parents do not have a problem with schedule. There are many boys who just want to play ball, let them play they do not care what day of the week they play on.

Smells like poop to me. you all need to go back to school to learn how to spell and write. who is helping our youth with their homework when a parent can't type a damn paragraph. You people,(and i do mean all) need to go take a crap on your front lawn. when you are finished turn around and take a look, you should see a pile of schedules, enough to go around for everyone. Give it a week and your grass should be greener in that general area. Get a life people and study american english, learn how to spell. come on parents everything isnt about ball games or schedules. life is about educating our youth and taking a crap in our front lawns.

Really "pooper"? You really look like a genius to cut on everyone else's grammar. You should have someone smart proofread your paragraph before you post that next next time.

I know that smarty pants. I'm not the one cutting people down for their grammar when mine isn't perfect either. I think you must have pushed too hard, and pooped your brains out on your own lawn. Go somewhere and kick rocks. It takes more intelligence than that to upset me. Just saying, try to be nice, and maybe people will be nice to you.

If you had any idea how silly all of you sound you might think twice about exposing your immaturity. No wonder kids are growing up and having trouble coping with life. Parents that cry and complain for no valid reason set poor examples. Get a life.

Yeah..i can sit back and laugh at all of you. take a look and see how many kids from the area are playing baseball some where else. till there is structure in this league it will never change. i mean never change! maybe the board for t-ball to A-ball needs to take a hard look at what other leagues are doing in scioto and ross county to see what is and what is not working. someone needs to wake up. yet, every year we lose kids to other counties and you all want to complain. when these players come back, they are going to be way ahead of the curve in player skills. go to mary lou park in chillicothe and watch a day full of games. a-ball all the way to t-ball you will not see that kind of ball played in waverly. why you ask....once you are on a team you stay with that team for your entire career in little league. so the coaches know the skills of each and every kid and they teach the kids how to play ball and build upon thier skills. plus they are into the season by 6 games now. where is waverly

When I sign my kids up for ball, I have expectations that yes we will have to sacrifice missing out on other things, what if you if your child played high school ball? They practice every night, you gonna cry then?? I know this schedule was changed almost 12 times && now due to parents whining & crying my kids have to play games 3-4 days in a row, instead of 2 times a week, in the end the kids are gonna get end up hating this game & not wanna play at all, I feel sorry for the older kids that have to pitch those 3-4 games in a row. All because 3 kids parents couldn't miss church on Wed., when you could still go on Sundays! Now we will be lucky if we finish out season mid-July, by then it'll be miserable & you will be wishing you had left things the way they were!!

I love baseball!!!! Ive played and Ive coached for12 to 14 yrs. Reguardless of how we whine complain or just down right bitch about it things will never change. What we need to worry about is why your kids arent learning even the basic fundamentals .90 per cent of kids cant even catch fly ball or properlly field grounders. It is up to parents not the coach or the board.Step up and help dont use the league as a babysitter.Ive talked to numberous coaches and parents and at the rate that the kids are being coached WAVERLY will be the laughing stock of baseball.Waverly needs to start with the youth to bring our GREAT VILLAGE back to where it we have talent and great baseball again.
