Has anyone heard of a local sawmill/lumber owner buying or opening the Masco/Mills Pride building in spring of 2012?

I also heard this rumor and also one that former owner Malcomn Healey bought it back. I'm thinking if any of this was true, and was gonna provide any jobs it would be fairly big news and be in the papers and on local TV news. So take it with a grain of salt. I do know they auctioned off all the equipment they could this past summer and fall (I actually saw the auction listings online), so probably not much left in the plant....
really

I hope it did fall through Ed already has too much money. Yes the buildings are empty, I think they even scrapped all the electrical wiring.

Wouldn't it be horrible for any jobs to come to the county and for any businessman to make some money in the process.

No that would be great for someone other than him. I would love to see our area gain some economic growth.

Does it really matter who owns it or profits from it if it brings numerous decent paying jobs to Pike county ?.
Stop being so envious of what others have and you do not, think of the great help it would be to the local economy.
In hillbilly lingo, grow the hell up, get your head out of your ass, the world does not revolve around you or how you think things should be.
