Everyone should blame prosecutor Junk and his staff for wanting to plea out on every case so that they don't have to work as hard. How many cases are filed on his desk that he just hasn't got to over the years for some reason? Call and ask him. Guarantee the response will be that they don't have the manpower like other counties to do their job correctly.

It's sad that a policeman would make a traffic stop and try to use that person to put thier life in danger to become a nark, when refused hold that person in custody and use someone else to go do the buy and nark on the drug dealer. Than bring the busted pill heads in and use innocent people to take the fall for narking, why would cops put someones life in danger to get a bust? Dirty cops, and lazy prosecuters will not clean up a town! Close down these pill shops and you will help clean the pills off the streets! Closing down theae Pain management places are the start of getting this stuff off the streets.

what evidence would the cops use to bust a pain clinic? There's nothing police can do if the prescriptions are written correctly. It would have to dea or medical related board I think.

all I can say Is live a honest life and you won't have problems with the law. I think our PD does better than what they are paid to do! I have no complaints with them. They have helped me numorous occasions when they didn't have to.

Wavered police may be cracking down on the drugs...but hellllooo are they ever going to do anything about the ppl stealing. Or fighting. My computer Nd x box got stolen and police had him in custody and let him go without searching his stuff when it was in the house they arrested him from....Brian varney stole it. He is a theif and one day he will be caught.....even though he alreadt should have been but watery cops decided to be lazy.! Freedom of speech. There it is.

I will have to disagree with you, I feel that the department is doing everything they can to help curb the theft and bad activity in the city. As a member of the city crime watch I know for a fact that the two officers that are over the program come in and patrol our neighborhoods and stop and talk to people outside on their own time, I find that very admirable in my opinion. I also want to congratulate them on thier efforts in cleaning up the walnut street park. The patrol cars are making a real presence in that area, we went to subway the other day and the crime prevention unit was sitting across from the park watching at the local NBA stars play basketball which is where the drug problems and foul language originate from in that park, and I have personally noticed that a lot more parents are taking their children to play in that park. I say go WPD keep up the good work.
