Everyone I know has major issues with the quality of this water.Had to replace corroded hot water heater, toilet tank kits, Steam mops,& faucets. All to often and to many times within a year.Pay out the a** for this water and can't even safely drink it.Also when taken a bath I get ex.small lime or calcium pebbles in my bath water. There's no way I'd let my family drink this.Paying for something that just keeps costing lots more cash in replacing everything on the side it breaks. Also I have no metal piping ,so it's not due to that.

Yes we do pay way to much for their crapy water, but they have us by the ya know what's because they are the only water company we have.. And their excuse is its never their fault it's always ours and our problem to fix...

Buy a water softener. Most of the problem is because of the hard water.

Just be happy you have access to a water supply. Many people on the west side of the county would love to have your problem. With county water I don't have to deal with a well that goes dry, have iron or sulpher, or clorinate for water contaminated with bacteria. I feel the benefits far out weigh dealing with the hard water and have never had an issue with their service.

I just clean the screen out of my kitchen faucet,it has some kind of dark white clay type things in it.It had been flowing very low ,now its fine.I'm assuming it's from the water. That's nasty,I've been cooking with that.Store bought water from now for my cooking.

The Guide stones are nothing more than an expensive version of that bill board near Wakefield.Time to take the tin foil hat off.

There is no fluoride in pike water's product. They simply add chlorine to disinfect it

Great, now today my toilet is not getting any water flow up into the back of the tank.I'm sure it's full of corrosion, just like the rest of my lines over the last few months. This water issue is just a problem no one should to have to deal with.It has gotten so much worse in the last few months.

Oh what do u think about the new "call in and tell us your going to pay your bill or we shut you off policy " ... I pay my bill in full every month and got shut off the other day for not calling them and telling them I will be in to pay o.O what on earth is that about ? I have to call in and tell them I will pay my bill or I get shut off even when its paid in full ? And 100$ re connection fee the same day ? It's highway robbery . And last year I kept telling them that something was wrong with my meter I went to fl for a 7 week vacation and paid my bill before I left when I got back I owed 97$ when no one was even home ... Their meter broke and the line going from the meter to the road busted yet the charged me ? When in their water contract it states I'm responsable for any and all water lines from the meter to my house NOT meter to road . Yet I got slapped with the bill ? Money hungry ! Bet if we protested their water supply this will get fixed !

Piss poor management with a rubber stamp board of directors. Pike Water is a consumer owned corporation whose mission is to provide safe drinking water at the best rate possible to its customers.
Why is the 'board' authorizing 'donations' to local endeavors? The manager seems to love seeing his picture in the paper giving our money away while our water rates go up.
If these charitable 'causes' are worthwhile why doesn’t the manager and the board members donate their own money?

my bath water was BROWN the other day.. AND when i flushed my toilet, brown water replaced the clear water. & it had like.. weird iron smell to it. plus my water bill is never the same and i KNOW i don't use more water one month to the next.. it should be generally the same. WORST WATER CO EVER. can't wait to get out of pike n get my ass back to Chillicothe. pike county sucks.

the ohio revised code states that the consumer is only responsible from the meter in. if your meter is inside then the water company is responsible to the main. if it broke outside how did they decide how much you owed if it didn't go through the meter?

Sorry but the costumer is responsible for all water lines after the shut off if the meter is inside the house

The only thing that the water supplier is responsible for after the shut off is the meter and the meter gaskets if it's inside the house

to have county water...beats hauling water any day and the cost is well worth the service... the people at pike water are more than happy to work with when its comes to making your payments
