Tim - Just found out she will face no charges in this accident - too sad - she's got to a be a real dirtbag |
||||
|
Do you have witnesses? Who can we contact? The judge has up to now refused to sign her arrest warrant....any information would be helpful. She should be incarcerated!
|
||||

Lisa - your lousy reputation precedes you ! Hope you are suffering many sleepless nights. Karma will catch up with you.
|

Finally JUSTICE will be served! Our family can finally get some kind of closeure.

Were you people there do you have ESP or a crystyl ball or something , sounds like an accident, and tim sounds like a disgruntalled ex boyfriend or something , hairsay will never hold up with a jury of twelve pears. As far as I knew in this country you are innocent until proven guilty. God be with both of these famillys, don't let the Internet propganda machine rob this poor girl of he rights as an American citizen. Walk a mile in both of these FAMILLIES shoes and then post your rude and unwarented comments . This girl was not charged untill eighteen months after the fact I'm sure her life is already foriet , now you want to destroy her familly life.?
Has any of you ever been involved in fatal accident?, I'm sure life does not just go on and I don't think anybody would malisiously hurt another, that's why there called accidents. I sure everyone is aware of the risks you take everyday when you get in your car or hop on your motorcycle, maybe you should have to sign a waiver when you get your licence. Just seems like a witch hunt to me. I hope nothing , accually I pray nothing like this ever happens to your familly no matter what side of the road you may be travleling. |

WEll...Concerned commenter...if you read the police report, you will see that there is virtually no time between the time of the phone call that she made, the time of the accident, and the time it was called in. In fact, having a motor vehicle license is a contract to abide by the traffic laws of your state. Lisa Ramos violated that contract, and two people are dead as a result.
The law is designed to make sure that 'preventable accidents', as this most assuredly was(4.5 feet left of center is beyond distracted, unless you are driving in the UK). Charges have been issued...that is what is supposed to happen when something is preventable.... I wish that there was no reason to comment here at all.. |

wake up you simple minded piece of trash. you really dont have a clue.for your information she is a soft hearted person who has consistantly helped the elderly, good mom and a stand up american citizen.this is an accident.you sit in the area of the accident, you will find that 9 out of 10 vehicles that travel that road in that area that are going the same direction as the couple on the motorcycle is at least a couple feet into the other lane. i know i travel that road every day.it is a bad corner that needs a stop or caution light.this is an accident and nothing more |

To hate is to murder as far as your hearts are concerned, you burn with anger and are not able to obtain the gratification and happiness that you seek. No amount of hate towards Lisa will bring back Brad and Rosemarie. I can't imagine how hard is must be to lose two loved ones, but I do know that God tells us we must forgive. Forgiveness is a choice not a feeling. Forgiving gives freedom. Lisa (if guilty) will serve the time but by continuing to hate nobody can begin the healing process. God loves every one of us.
Mark 11:25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. |

1 Re-read the accident report before you start thowing wild accusations about. A team of experts assessed the scene, and issued their opinion. As far as doing the right thing and not being at fault, where do you see refusing a blood test for substances and alcohol in this spectrum? One might conjecture that Ms. Ramos was not confident of her abilities to pass such objective tests, or she would not have refused them. |
||||
|
I do understand where you are coming from. You make a very valid point. I have not seen the accident report and do not know all the details except from what I read on here. I also feel that if all these things are infact true that yes Lisa does need to be held responsible and serve whatever amount of time that is found to be fair. Ofcourse, because Lisa is part of my family it is my obligation, I feel, to support her right now even if this accident in fact does turn out to be her fault. I do hope your family gets the justice you are looking for but I also hope that for yourselves and for Lisa that you can forgive as well. I am very sad about your loss. I have read the aricles about Brad and Rosemarie and they seemed like absolutely wonderful people.

For your info she was not mandated by the police to take a blood test because they did not feel she was under the influence of drugs or alchol if they thought that than they should have pulled her liscene right there even after she was arrested for her charges. So you better think before you make anymore accusations. I know the law fairly well to say this.I've been on that road many times and have almost been hit by motorcycles, 18 wheelers etc. etc. so don't make accusations you know nothing about. Have you drove that road yourself? If you did you know what I'm trying to tell you. I've even come close to hitting another motorist. It's a very sharp and dangerous curve. so stop pointing the finger at one indivigual and think about how many other bad accidents happend on that corner. So as they say to forgive is devine and to eeir is human. God forgave us our sins.Again practice what you preach. Both families are going through hell right now so stop the nasty backstabbing blogs.

Brad Randall was my uncle and my friend. I have a copy of the investigation report and here is an excerpt from that report; "The 1997 Subaru Legacy, color red, bearing Connecticut registration 924UPJ, VIN#: 4S3BG6859V7642738 owned by Lisa J. Ramos DOB: 06/26/1984), of 293 South Canterbury Road in Canterbury, Connecticut seized by the Connecticut State Police, Troop D, Danielson, Connecticut on Monday, May 26, 2008, from South Canterbury Road (Route 169) approximately eighty yards north of the intersection with Depot Road Extension in Canterbury, Connecticut currently held at Troop D, Danielson CT, which may contain evidence of Operation Under the Influence of Liquor or Drugs and/or both including but not limited to alcohol bottles/cans and/or certain narcotics, heroin, cocaine, morphine type drugs, marijuana, amphetamine type pills, cannabis type drugs, cocaine type drugs, hallucinogenic and morphine type drugs, glassine envelopes, cookers, needles, syringes, papers and containers used to hold said drugs and scales used to weigh the same, all of the above which are used to violate certain statutes located inside the vehicle." Now can someone tell me why she was not arrested and given a sobriety test right at the scene of the accident? I'll tell you why I think she wasn't arrested. Her father in law and grandfather to her child is none other than Sgt. Bart Ramos of the Plainfield Police Department. People there are some very shady politics going on here and she should be charged with at least Vehicular Homicide or Manslaughter, not the petty infraction with which she is currently being charged. This is a criminal cover-up and the people covering up this crime should be charged also. If it were any of us in possession of these substances after an accident such as this, we would certainly be arrested and given a sobriety test and blood test. Why wasn't she??

In ALL accidents where death results, a substance test is called for. It isn't a question of opinion in that situation. As far as the danger of the road, it seems that, as a long time local driver, the automatic response would be to proceed with MORE caution, not less. There is no finger pointing involved, just a reiteration of fact and common sense.
I saw the accident scene, the grooves in the pavement from the forks of the motorcyle as is was driven backwards upon impact, and the remanants of the charred wreckage. As far as immediately pulling a license, that would circumvent due process...a constitutional right. |

It appears that, as one commenter alluded to earlier, the facts appear to be getting confused. This is why the legal system exists, and why there is a judge who will, eventually, hear these facts, and perhaps even a jury. As a result of maybe 12 people who are trying to figure out the facts, the disposition of the case may be determined. It will most definitely not be determined by Mr. Ramos (unless, Sir, you are a defense attorney) nor should it be. Why? Because strong emotion (which you most definitely are going through at the moment) impairs judgment.
Though I am sure they are very important to you Mr. Ramos, your opinions, and your ethnicity, are of no significance whatsoever in this case. I do not believe that one can only be either Hispanic or Filipino....is it not possible to be of both Hispanic and Filipino descent, for example, paternally and maternally? |

I was only correcting the comment this was some type of cover up conspiract ,in no way shape or form is my wife or I realated to srt.Bart Ramos .
