After Contacting Ms. Sullivan from the consumer Trade Protection agency, I received this following reply from her and the attachment she sent. I thought all of you would definitely be interested. The following is her e mail to me.

Our agency referred TV Marketplace to the Wisconsin Department of Justice in September, 2007. I have attached a copy of information released by that agency in early 2008. As far as I can tell, their action is ongoing.

WISCONSIN INTERNET COMPANY, TV MARKETPLACE LLC, SUED FOR UNFAIR AND DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES
Department of Justice Lawsuit Alleges Waukesha County Based Internet Retailer Of Using Unfair And Deceptive Trade Practices In The Sale Of "As Seen On TV" Products
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
January 2, 2008
MADISON - The Wisconsin Department of Justice has filed a consumer protection enforcement action against Waukesha County businesses, TV Marketplace, LLC, TV Market, LLC, TV Product, LLC, Your Store Online, LLC, and their owners Chris and Paul Reoch, based on unfair and deceptive trade practices these companies utilized in marketing "As Seen On TV" products online, Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced.
Over the past three years, several hundred complaints were filed with the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP), the Better Business Bureau, and the Consumer Sentinel against these Wisconsin companies. The complaints alleged, among other things, that the companies failed to deliver goods for which payments have been made; misrepresented the delivery time; and failed to provide refunds when requested by the consumers.
In 2006, DATCP investigated the companies. At that time, Chris and Paul Reoch, on behalf of themselves and their companies, consented to a Special Order issued by DATCP, in which they agreed to cease and desist unfair trade practices and to implement a series of measures to prevent future violations.
Since the issuance of the Special Order, however, hundreds of additional consumer complaints have been filed with DATCP and the Better Business Bureau. These complaints allege many of the same unfair trade practices that were subject to the Special Order issued by DATCP and indicate that the preventive measures agreed upon in the Special Order have not been implemented.
DATCP referred the case to the Department of Justice for enforcement of the 2006 Special Order. The State is seeking restitution for injured consumers, as well as forfeitures for violations of Wisconsin consumer protection laws.
"DATCP took the lead on investigating these consumer complaints and issued an administrative order that was designed to abate future misconduct," Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen said. "Unfortunately, individuals and businesses do not always abide by administrative orders and it becomes necessary to enforce those orders through court proceedings brought by the Department of Justice. We will continue to work with DATCP to ensure that the State's laws are followed."
The suit has been assigned to Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Michael Bohren. The State is being represented by Assistant Attorney General Lara Sutherlin.

After making a purchase with youronlinestore.net , we got 3 unauthorized charges on our credit card for todaysescapes, budget savers, & homeplay. I am VERY careful when I shop online, & do not recall seeing ANYTHING where I authorized this. After emailing them to find out what happened to our order, we got back an email saying that we SHOULD HAVE received an email telling us the item was backordered. We need it sooner than 10 to 12 days later, or as some have posted, MONTHS later. We are cancelling our order, & putting a block on our credit card & having them issue us a new one because of the fraudulant/unauthorized charges. Glad I found this site (hopefully) in time. Thank you to everyone who posted here.

well, this is the letter I received from the wisconsin dept...after reading it, I dont feel that the punishment was enough, and after reading these complaints here on line , I see that fraud is still going on. what a shame. heres the letter I received.

The case has recently been settled. The following is an article that appeared in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
Waukesha Internet company ordered to pay restitution, fees
By Doris Hajewski of the Journal Sentinel

Posted: Apr. 14, 2009

The Wisconsin attorney general has won a consent judgment against a Waukesha-based Internet company that sold "As Seen on TV" products.

Brothers Chris and Paul Reoch, owners of the business, were ordered to make restitution to customers who complained and to pay $40,000 in forfeitures, fees and costs. The state filed the lawsuit in December 2007 against the Reoch brothers' company, which operated as TV Marketplace, TV Market, TV Product and Your Store Online. The Your Store Online site continues to operate.

Hundreds of complaints received by the state Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection and the Better Business Bureau said the company failed to deliver goods for which payments had been made, misrepresented the delivery time and failed to provide refunds that were requested.

An attorney for the brothers said they had overestimated their ability to serve their customers and couldn't keep up with orders.

Once again, these thieves have gotten away with it. As usual, we get the best justice that money can buy. Keep those complaints coming, maybe one day real "justice" will prevail. Until then, post complaints on every complaint board you find, as well as the govenment links mentioned earlier. Because the locals have refused to take meaningful action, perhaps the best route would be with the Federal links listed earlier for the FTC and FBI. I wonder if the Post Office would get involved in mail fraud charges.

You will probably never see your money. Follow the links in earlier posts and send your complaint to the state of Wisconsin, the Waukesha police department, the FTC and FBI. Make sure that you send it along to the attorney general of Wisconsin, since he has given these guys a pass. You may also want to send a copy to the consumer fraud department and attorney general of your own state.
Good luck - let us know what response - if any- that you get.

Absolutely call your credit card company and dispute the transaction - the odds of you ever seeing your money or product from these crooks is slim to none. You should also close your card and get another one issued, since one of the things these thieves do is to charge a card repeatedly. You may want to send along some printouts of this forum to bolster your case with the credit card company.

Should I try calling YourOnline Store again and ask for a refund. I emailed the manager Paul, and he hasn't reply back.

Do you think calling my credit card will mess up my credit?

If you have a high tolerance for BS you can try calling them again. Don't expect anything useful to result, however. Calling your credit card company to report fraud should not mess up your credit - they should thank you for it. I would suggest changing your credit card number (these crooks will charge your card whenever they feel like it) and file a "Regulation E" report with your bank. This deals with fraud and identity theft.

As has been previously noted, "My Store Online" is the same scam by the same people with a different web address. The only thing you can do is keep reporting them. Also contact the FBI (Internet fraud) and US Postal Service (mail fraud) since it is obvious that the locals are on the take. And ALWAYS contact your bank and report the fraud. You MAY get your money back from your bank. If the credit card companies get burned enough, they may even take some action. Banks just hate losing money.

I personally dont think anyone cares anymore. They have been brought to court, and it looks like they got a slap on the hand. They are still ripping people off and nothing is being done although hundreds of complaints have been made to several offices. IF they were doing this in Europe somewhere they probably would be hanged. Here ....NOTTA.......arent they lucky to be living in the united states....I cannot for the life of me understand why they are not in jail. People go to jail for shoplifting....look what they are doing.....ahhh...enough said.....they got away with it, and are still getting away with it...

I would suggest that everyone who has been screwed by these crooks get in touch with the
Journal Sentinel and reference Doris Hajewski's article mentioned earlier dated April 14 and suggest that they look at these postings. The address to file a "tip" is: http://www.jsonline.com/news/30720924.html
You may want to elucidate on how you were screwed by these criminals, and express your frustration at the fact that they are still doing the same thing.

isnt it sad that these crooks are still operating and stealing and scamming people. If these Reoch brothers keep getting away with this scam, it makes us all question the justice system, and frustration leads to breakdowns in society. Did anyone of the hundreds that were scammed by yourstoreonline report anything to the fbi, the wisconsin attorney, or even the fraud department of the Police dept-come on you guys, we have to make some noise, we cant let Paul and Chris Reoch continue to drive around in brand new cars and fly to the Superbowl while we are paying for their lavish lifestyle with the money they stole from us !! These Reoch brothers are nothing more than scam artists who have been allowed to continue their scam at our expense. It will only get worse

The point is this: Reports have been made, and a "prosecution" was undertaken. They got off. Maybe some of the money they have stolen is being "redistributed" to the ones that are supposed to be protecting the public. Remember - we have the best justice system that money can buy.
