Park City could get casino

I saw this coming during the aldermanic race! ParkCity needs a casino like a hole in the head. People are poor enough without a casino to rob their money . I bet some politicians are going to line their pockets !

park city, a town where the money collected from traffic infractions got stolen from the police department, where another patrolman was caught dancing naked in down town Antioch in full view of the police chief. look at who is running that town LOL shady dealings I say

the things you say about park city was in the past, under a different BREED of workers. yes ill be honest, they still have a few floating around but they are not anyone that runs anything in park city.

the new police chief in park city is doing things differently. since the new chief has been in park city there has not been any kind of corruption. the new chief is slowly bringing park city forward with the help of other good, honest workers.

just like you say TONY, park city has been known for the things you say about park city as well as other things. with all that said it has made park city look really bad.

There ought to be a tall stockade fence around parkCity to keep the eyesore away from would be tourists to the lakefront. A known fact that corrupt lawmakers attract gambling establisments. ie Vegas , Rosemont Atlantic city to name a few, A casino in a trailer ? sounds like we need Buford Pusser to clean up parkcity hall! Anyone can see the nob connections there .

I was at a function recently and a top official from Park City was telling someone that "the casino is a done deal - it's going to happen." They are sure keeping it quiet because I haven't seen any news reports if that's the case - shady already if what I heard is true.

A certain breed of politicians attract such business, The crooked city council couldnt attract a manufacturing company to save their life .

I read in todays News Sun that the Park City Mayor and Alderman voted to go ahead with their plans of collusion with an unnamed developer to seek a state gaming license and open a casino in Park City. I would hope that the state gaming commission would look deeply into the corruption, and outright thievery that exists in this corrupt little city’s government. THE LAST THING OUR LITTLE COMMUNITY NEEDS IS A CASINO!

It's always the most corrupt governments that want casinos. The park City's council's decision to ask for a casino is an invitation for kickbacks and they know it.. the same greed that caused the new alderman to wrest control of the finances away from the mayor into his own control will cause many a crooked decision to be made. Shame on the Park City council

People, Park City is crazy....Do you really think that the city has a chance for a casino...I DON'T THINK SO....Maybe if BLAGO was still the gov of Illinois...I am ashamed to state that I once believed in this town and would have diven all the support to them in the world, but now I wouldn't trust them to watch a penny for me..
