Lawler baby recovering from tub incident

The Chickasaw County Sheriff's Office is investigating the residents of a Lawler home where a 6-month-old baby reportedly was found under water in the bathtub.

It makes you wonder why the law doesn't step in before something tragic happens. To bad that as advanced and competent as we are suppose to be, no one in social services etc has what it takes to be responsible! They would sooner "sweep it under the rug" as act on what is right and do what needs to be done.
