The name Woodrow Keeble may not be familiar to you, but it resonates loudly in the military ranks and in Washington.

MSG Keeble has always been my hero, he is also my
Uncle, he was married to my aunt Nettie. I served in the US Army for more than twenty years and saw
many other soldiers black and Japanese get medals from WWII and there wasn't any Statue of Limitations on their awards, is it because MSG Keeble is an Indian???Some beleive that that was the reason his initial recommendation was lost or
misplaced, its about time to put aside your biases
and do the right thing Mr. President, MSG Keeble
didn't hesitate when called upon to serve his
country, you shouldn't hesitate to award the Medal
of Honor Now.

I had the privelege of meeting Woodrow Keeble, when I lived in Wahpeton, ND. His son Earl was my brother's friend.

I was too young to understand what Mr. Keeble had accomplished in his life, but his mere presence was something I will never forget.

My husband retired from the Army in 2000 and when I told him about Mr. Keeble, his accomplishments and that his recommendations for the Medal of Honor were lost, TWICE, he said that back when the recommendations were made the misplaced paperwork was not an accident.

Mr. Woodrow Keeble earned the Medal of Honor, long ago, it is unfortunate that prejudice and governmental snafu's have continued to keep this Honor from Mr. Keeble. I pray that the wait is over soon.
