Oh yes without a doubt it was the secretary, with the aid of the mayor...And the sign in the mayor's yard was probably the work of the Council President. Disgusting!

kim has fingerprints all over this letter. Her wording and spelling gave her away. We know donna was involved but she is worse than kim when it comes to spelling so she didn't write it. Why didn''t you donna and richie put your name on the letter. Is it maybe because it was full of lies and you are afraid of getting sued? Please all of you that are being slandered by these bitches, yes richie you are probably someone's bitch, get a lawyer and file class action suit. Would love to see donna in court. It would be worth paying to see her crumble.

lets vote for kim ayers yeah please do..... See the sign in front of her sons house. Totally rude and childish. Mary i would press charges against them. I think it is time to vote that whole clan out. Really makes me mad that they would stoop to a 3rd grade level like that. That letter is gonna bring someone jail time I am sure. Think before you send stuff out that doesn't pertain to the election. Maybe it time to clean out their closets

I go to wattsburg tonight i might just rip the childish signs down.

I just received the "letter" in the mail today. I am a wattsburg resident and when I read this "letter" I was so embrassed that this childish behavior is happening in my town. I have no idea what feuds are happening between these people but I am tired of reading about it. I would really appreciate it if the people that are running for council provided some insight as to what they are running for, what kind of experience they have and their goals. I would like to participate and vote however with the comments made in the letter I am having a hard time believing anyone is looking out for the interest of the town.

I just want to say that I have the PROOF, that i never fixed the books!!! Which I will be bringing proof to the meeting Monday night... My Lawyer is going to have a field day with this... Put it this way: IF it was true, then why was there NEVER any CHARGES?!?!?! Even if I don't get voted in that is okay... I will go about my life enjoying it the way I have been... I have everything to be thankful for... If I do get the votes I need; I would to start off with nice calm meetings, with no explosions. I would like to see fairness and equality. I would like to see our streets get the care they need and not just a band aid. I want the "News Letter" to be exactly that, to let people know what is going on in Wattsburg and not being used for a slam session, gossip column and pat ourselves on the back letter. I want to bring back OUR NATIONS HERITAGE, with a FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION, I would also like for us to bring PRIDE back to our little town. I would love to hear any and all suggestions that the residents may have. Whether you own a home or rent. You live hear, so you are a "Resident" regardless of what some may think. I don't like the town being divided, I remember growing up here and everyone knew everyones names, who's kids were who's and so on. No one person was "afraid" to get involved. I want to see "UNITY" brought back, everyone working together. Remember this is "YOUR TOWN" and no one individual should try to take that from you! We will be going around again (it got to cold last night) to finish talking to residents, Face-to-face. I want to "PROUD" to live here once again. I know Mary Deck and Donna Bay feel the same. So please each and every vote will count. If you would like to see things moving forward instead being stuck in a rut with all the drama! VOTE ON TUESDAY: DONNA BAY, MARY DECK and TRINA DINGLE!! Donna is a write in so just ask the ladies how to write her in if you are not sure how to.

It is a sad day when we the people allow the current mess to continue, giving our town a bad name and pitting our residents against each other. It has to stop. If you aren't part of the solution, then you are part of the problem....We have to take back our town and get things back on the right track.

This really isn't a bad place to live, but it goes with the the old saying "one bad apple spoils the whole bunch". Someone is determined to totally ruin this town.

Prayers with our town, that people will open their eyes and see what is happening, open their minds and learn from past mistakes, and be willing to help clean up the mess.

It is sad that if you are a renter you don't count in this town. I have lived here almost 4 years and know almost no one. But the way I see people argue and fight , then i frequently see this woman in a pickup truck drive by giving me the stink eye. It makes me not want to know anyone. Its awful. The few people I do know are very nice. Seems like the town is in need for a change.

I just want to thank everyone for voting for change... Unfortunately Donna Bay did not get enough votes... But for being a write in she did get a lot... Pat Hopkins and Jeanne Loper tied... Mary Deck and I have won... This was one of the best Voter turn-outs in years... Thank you everyone for the votes I cannot express enough how thankful we are...

I want to clear the post I made. Not the 'renters toes' I was just making a point that renters do vote and from the election turn out and outcome I would say they voted. I meant "renters vote and the derogatory comments made about renters probably made them take an extra effort to vote". They should not be stepping on renters toes if they want to be supported....I am a renter...

Renters count. I served in office when I was a renter. You are a part of the town and a part of this economy. If you are registered to vote then by all means you should. If you aren't registered to vote, then you really can't complain if there is a mess in town. We the citizens of the boro need to unite and let the powers that be know that we are tired of the garbage that goes on, and that we don't want it to continue. We don't need an attorney to babysit at the meetings, a brief appearance and address to the council about issues pending would suffice and then he could leave until he was needed again. Video cameras pointed at the visitors - who is paying for this? Audio, I always recorded meetings for my own benefit, but they were my tapes. I can understand if the secretary records and then keeps the tapes as matter of public record.

The mud slinging and rude comments and crude language of certain members of council is not necessary, and I think that the solicitor would warn them about such actions. Why they haven't been sued before this is certainly a mystery. Same for the news letter, it should be exactly that and not for personal vendetta. The newsletter from the historical society was a breath of fresh air and more what our letter should be.

I hope that whoever sent the letter realizes that it spurred people to action, action against mudslinging.

I hope that the new council will work together for the people and not for tearing down the area.

Business is what keeps this town alive, and we need to support it, not tear it down. Disagreements need to be left outside the door prior to meetings, and those elected need to remember who they serve. It is not an easy job, but there is no need to bully, be rude, be crude or show ignorance. It is an opportunity to do good for others and I hope council remembers this.
Spend our money as if you had worked for it, be frugal and thrifty and use it wisely.

Thank you for your time. Best wishes for a good coming year and remember why you were elected.
