Baby sitter, 19, makes bail in drownings of 2 toddlers

A 19-year-old baby sitter accused of negligence in the drowning deaths of two toddlers was released on bail over the objection of prosecutors.

AMEN.........You can blame the District Justice for the bail amount. That was a ridiculous amount for what happened, especially since she tried to get someone to lie and cover-up for her. There is alot more to this story, especially when the prosecutor feels she is a flight risk. That in itself should have demanded a MUCH higher bail.

Umm Yeah this girl still should be in jail! Right after it happened she was out partying at a near by dance club~ When she got out of Jail she told one of her close friend that she just wanted to get f*cked up n have sex. To forget about what happened! I think she needs to be looked up for good! Thoes two little poor girls parents!

How is falling asleep because your drunk, killing two innocent toddlers not manslaughter, she got involuntary manslaughter, this girl tried to get others to lie for her and in a case of death that's a crime in and of itself, this girl should get life without parole just for being what she is wasted.

Half of you can't even fuckin spell correctly, and you think that you can decide some girl's life cuz of an incident that none of you were there for? Total fuckin rejects, one of those girls was her baby-sister and the other was a girl about the same age, but still in all the events that happend none of it was her fault. What if any of you had made a mistake just as bad, or even worse? Would you want all these people making gossip about you and what your life should be like? I didnt think so; so think twice before any of open your mouth about shit you hear on the news or from other people, cuz all of it is all just gossip, and that makes you just as accountable as she was when the accident happend.

She let two children die...your right...HUGE MISTAKE! She should sit for life.

There is more to this story. The mother of one of the toddlers came home earlier in the day. She knew her daughter had been drinking and partying all night. She caught her sleeping. But she was going to each the teenager a lesson. And left the girl in charge of the toddlers. IF you want to be mad at the teenager what about the mom who "wanted to teach the teenager a lesson about partying all night?"

Please be advised that the party at which this girl allegedly drank did not happen in Edinboro Borough. It happened at a house one mile south of Edinboro's police jurisdiction on Route 99 in Washington Township. Edinboro's police don't have jurisdiction to patrol to deter crime beyond our boundaries. Washington Township must rely on state police, unless the two municipalities agree on regionalizing the Borough's police force. I am in favor of that.

First off none of you know any thing unless your in the family. Its all hear say shit from the news people. I'm the cousin of the victim. I flew 3000 miles away to come home for the funeral. None of you can't tell me that when your under stress that you deal with things in your own way everybody does its called denial, especially in a tragic accident like this was. Ya some of the things she did after the fact was not the right choices, but its over and its a really sad accident and a very hard thing for our family to deal with. These girls will be in our thoughts for the rest of our lives, and Brittney will have to deal and remember this for the rest of her life, thats a punishment alone. So all i have to say is unless you know the facts don't pass judgement on people. This will be a story no one could ever forget. And I'm sure Brittney will never be able to forgive herself..Her life will never be the same, or what she expected.
