This is absolutely wonderful to hear...a truly heartwarming story that brought tears to my eyes. I remember the news stories when this fine young Marine first passed, and they will stay with me forever. My husband, a Marine, was deployed at the same time, and I remember my intense feelings of gratitude to this Marine and sympathy for his family.

Thank you, Marine, for your sacrifice. Please watch over my husband, a Marine brother, as he enters his 3rd deployment. Semper Fi

my husband too is a former marine having served in Vietnam. God Bless your family and your son for your sacrifices. Please remember, your son is always in the hearts of every Marine and their families.

The cause is worthy, but the action could be inproved. Instead of climbing on bikes, using fossil fuels and emitting greenhouse gases -- why not walk? It's great exercise, there's no air or noise pollution, and you could give the gas money to charity in the honored marine's name.

Well, gee, perhaps it had something to do with the fact that his own mother stated how much this Marine loved motorcycles. They are honoring him in a way reflects upon who he was and the things he enjoyed most. Let it go, with the greenhouse-gas stuff, for this one.
