that's a nice little story they made up. not very believable though. this woman deserves a much harsher punishment! i can't even imagine the horror this poor baby went through. her children will be better off without a mommy like that.

this worthless pile of garbage should've gotten much more than 3 years. "child was running around defecating"? why didn't he have a diaper on? and the explanation they came up with is like WOW! do you think we're that stupid!!!!

Actually, it's pretty hard to believe that if a child was being burned intentionally, he would be answering questions clearly enough for a neighbor to hear. Hmmm...Maybe people shouldn't believe everything they read in the paper.

I live in the building where this happened. We've always had problems with the hot water and being suddenly burned by it in the shower. Also my fiancee was home all day on the day of this incident and did not hear anything at all that would make him think any kind of violence was going on in the building. The so-called witness had reason to lie, which I won't even get into. We can just say that there is much more than meets the eye here. She is no worthless pile of garbage, and her children are certainly not better off w/o her. This was a horrible accident, not intentional at all.

you know that police rely on that witness's statement, right? so, it's up to you to help your neighbor out. you can let everybody know what really happened.
