Why is it necessary to have another chain?
Why have your money be supporting some suit in Houston or New York City?

I would like to see some restaurants that only sells local produce and supports the local economy.

Some restaurant where you could order a family meal to go and take it home, or take it to the game or take it on a picnic or take it to friends/family?

The last thing I want to eat is the exact same food I can eat along every highway in America.

I totally agree, No Restaurant chains.

I just had to put a new trans in my car. I went with a local man who has been in the area almost 30 years. Vs another shop that has several locations. Even though the local was about 100 bux more. And he lowered that once he found out.
I totally support non chain/family personal owned business.

I'd rather have a whole foods or similar type place, instead.

Let's cook at home ... we need good farmers market with locally grown / made products. There is few good places and empty lots for sale off m59 and hospital or airport rd. Eating at home is better , healthier and cheaper than in ANY restaurant.

We don't need any more restaurants or fast food chains. I suggest you all avoid High Fructose Corn Syrup, Pesticides, Sucrose (fake sugar), Aspartame, Splenda, Fluoride, Artificial Colors, Artificial Flavors, Mercury, etc.

Grow your own food, Eat purely organic and avoid all chemicals listed about

"What restaurant do we need OFF M-59?" Do you mean, "What restaurant needs to be REMOVED from M-59?"

BTW, your E key is sticking.

I voted for Chili's only because I would like to see them take over that Godforsaken Applebluks we have here. The service is a joke, half the time the food is ill-prepared....ugh! Seriously though, eat at home, it is more cost effective!

I can think of two right off the bat that haven't been mentioned...

Big Johns Steak and Onion! This awesome chain is primarily in Flint.. 2 on Dort Highway and in Davison M-15 and one in Owosso M-21. They make a sandwich like nobody else. I crave them and hate going through those areas without stopping to get one.

Also...
A nice family restaurant that serves "good" deep fried beer battered cod that is not too oily or over breaded would be good too. There are too few of them too. Most restaurant serve the frozen boxed junk these days. It doesn't taste much better than the same junk you c an buy in the grocery store that comes out of the oven...yuk! Good Cole Slaw is a must too. Rib Rack and Chicken Shack make the best Cole Slaw around in case your interested.

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Sagittarius

You'll feel friendly with everyone you meet today, and you might even be lucky financially. Money should be coming in, but going out rather fast as well... Astral influences will keep you on your toes, and will probably make you flirtatious, but they could also make you moody. This makes it tricky for close relationships to run on an even keel. The truth is, perhaps you don't want too much closeness at the moment. Your partner probably knows that you're often like this, by now, anyway.
