Terrible Dunham Sports customer service

Does anyone understand Dunham Sports concept of acceptable customer service? I was in one of their stores yesterday and not one employee would acknowledge me and most of all, offer to assist me. Every employee ignored me and continued walking away. Do they think they have an endless supply of customers who don't mind terrible customer service? How do their stores survive if customers never find what they were looking for and simply leave and shop elsewhere?
I found their company website. I can't believe what I found! They tell customers to contact the local store if you want to discuss an aspect of your experience. It seems that their corporate management doesn't want to be bothered by customers who only want to advise them of poorly performing employees in their retail stores.

They don't even provide a phone number to call. If you try to send them a message using their email message system, you have to check a box confirming that the subject of your message is not store specific. What a goofy company. I'll never go back to one of their stores again.

I will never ever shop at Dunham Sport's again. I tried to buy my son an airsoft rifle. The only one they had was in damaged torn and taped box. They refused to reduce price. My son really wanted that particular one so I decided to get it any way. I got to the check out gave them my email for the second time then wrote a check for the purchase. They told me it was declined and got really nasty with me when I asked how that was possible. I have never bounced a check in my life! I showed all proper I.D. And had written checks at both Toys R Us and target that same day! If Dunham's doesn't take checks then they need to advertise to that fact. Never, never, never will I walk into that store again!
