It seems to me that raising prices on permits and licenses is a bad way to raise money. How about reducing the waste in the state let's start there. How about saving the few businesses left rather then see them leave for other states. This nonsense about charging me for car taxes every year has to go too. Tax me when I buy a vehicle new or register it that's it. Tolls, people don't like tolls. Remeber in the mid 80's when the toll were coming down. They came up with a so called "temporary tax". Well it's 2009 and that temp tax is still here. Put a toll at the borders and not in the middle of the state.

fishing isn't that great in Ct to warrant any increase in license fees. They should stock more fish if they want more money.

I don't "get" the appeal of fishing.I like the outdoors, but baiting a hook and handling a slimy fish, then cleaning it,then hoping the pollution doesn't KILL you.Not my idea of fun.If I am hungry for a fish dinner,I will go to a restaurant.

That is what Catch and Release is for.

People take time to write about fishing. Months ago I posted info on ocean state job lot selling Paseo toilet paper. World wildlife fund has a massive campaign to stop the import of this product. It comes from a forest where endagered tigers live. They are dying at a rapid rate, since their land is being taken from them. Many stores I have contacted went on to educate themselves and have pulled this product. Ocean state won't even answer me. There was not one response to my post. People, really?? Fishing wins over endagered animals?? Something is wrong here.
